Hello! My name is Cason and I am originally from South Georgia. I grew up volunteering at the my local animal shelter back home and dog sitting for friends and family. I currently have four dogs of my own back home: Alex, Gus, Milly & Harper. I miss them more than anything! I hope to have the opportunity to spoil your dog as my own! :)

Hi, I’m Anna! I have always been a lover of dogs and grew up with a goldendoodle. I would love to have a dog of my own one day, but unfortunately being a pilot in the Air Force isn’t quite flexible enough for that. SO I would love to get to spend time with your dogs! I love doing outdoorsy things like hiking and skiing and am a huge reader. I cannot wait to meet your dog and give them some love!

All dogs are welcome at HSVLC, including the homeless, hungry, stray, old, young, sick, abandoned, and neglected. They all deserve their happily ever after. Maybe your new best friend is waiting for you at HSVLC. Come in and meet their furry friends in person, attend an adoption event or check out the website for their adoptable sweethearts!
HSVLS is a non-profit private organization and they run solely on donations from animal lovers like you, adoption fees and fundraisers. These monies not only keep the dogs safe, warm and fed but they also fund the numerous outreach programs provided by HSVLS. Their programs include a low-cost spay and neuter program, educational programs on proper care of animals, how to identify signs of abuse in animals and a trap/neuter/release program for the area's feral cat population.
If you aren't able to adopt right now, HSVLS hopes you will consider volunteering some of your time to help them care for their furry friends. There are so many jobs that need taken care of every day! Or maybe, you would like to foster one of HSVLS' dogs at your house while you decide whether you are ready for a lifelong doggy commitment. When you foster one of their pets, you are opening up a new spot for another homeless animal to wait for his forever family to adopt him, so essentially you are saving two lives by your act of kindness.
