Heaven was heaven for our dog Jack for over 2 weeks while we were off island. Our dog is a demanding 16 month old energetic good sized pit-bull and we were very worried about someone else being willing and able to handle him and care for him well, and Heaven went above and beyond! Santa Claus for a Cause: Get Your Holiday Photo
Santa Claus is coming to town but this time he will arrive from Germany in his vintage Volkswagen bus - hey, even Santa needs a vacation once in a while! There may be no snow in Hawaii, but there will be plenty of holiday spirit once Santa rolls into town in the Photo Bus Oahu! Bring the whole family, even your precious fur babies, pull out those ugly Christmas sweaters or dress in your holiday best (or maybe your swimming suit - it is Hawaii after all) and pose in front of this classic auto with Santa! This year's event benefits the Hawaii International Child fund and is sponsored by Aloha Home Market - the owners of the Photo Bus Oahu! No reservations are needed but it is asked that you bring a $15.00 donation to the Hawaii International Child fund.36

February is the month to find love, so why not come down and meet some great pups who are looking to find love too - with you and your family! If you find the furry love of your life, all adoption fees are waived from 10 am to 12 noon only. Why not take a chance on love? Canine Games Day
Time to play, Fido! Join hundreds of pet parents and their furbabies for a day of running, frolicking, swimming, food and fun! This event is hosted by the fabulous Hawaiian Humane Society. Let your dog take his turn at the Dog Derby, take a dip in the pool or play with other pups! There will be plenty of vendors to find your doggy that paw-fect toy or treat you know he deserves (and maybe pick yourself up a little something as well.) There will be lots and lots of contests judging doggos on their wagging abilities, tricks and stamina. There will even be an owner/pup look-a-like contest! This event sounds paws-itevely paw-fect! Come and join in on a day filled with dogs and fun!12
Habilitat's Christmas Tree Sales
Come and pick out your family's holiday tree to benefit Habilitat - a non-profit addiction treatment center. This event is the 44th year of providing Hawaii with the freshest and most beautiful trees for the holiday season. The whole family is welcome - even your leashed fur baby! Come and visit one of their four locations and browse what they have to offer. All proceeds from the sale of the trees go right back into the program that provides scholarships, vocational training and educational programs for those struggling with addictions. Tis the season to give back - please purchase a tree for this excellent cause.
