Hello! I am a 25 year old college graduate who recently moved to the Nashville area before beginning medical school in the Fall. Since I will soon not have the appropriate time to have my own dog, I’m taking this opportunity to spend my free time with the dogs of Nashville! I grew up in a family with dogs, and take every chance I get to spend time with the dogs of friends and family. I would love to add a little joy and exercise to your dogs day while alleviating some of the stress from you!

Dog Boarding in Cedar Rapids
Last Hope Animal Rescue's mission is easy in theory - to save all homeless, abused, abandoned, neglected and "unadoptable" dogs and place them in forever, loving homes. The practice is substantially more difficult. It takes dedication and a whole lot of love - it also takes volunteers, money and good old-fashioned hope.
Last Hope Animal Rescue takes in dogs that didn't have very happy beginnings - but if Last Hope Animal Rescue has its way, they will all have a perfect happily ever after. They pull dogs from over-crowded, high-kill shelters - the ones that are deemed "too old", "too sick", "too mean" or who have special needs. These are often the first dogs chosen for euthanasia. If you are looking to adopt and can give the special animals at Least Hope Animals Rescue their "happily ever after", please consider adopting one of the dogs society has deemed "unadoptable". You will not regret it and that one pooch you take into your home will never stop thanking you for saving them, keeping them safe, warm, fed and loved.
Before their pets go to their fur-ever home, they are spayed/neutered, receive all vaccinations, are temperament tested and receive all medical care and socialization they need to learn how to trust humans again. The dogs need to know not everyone out there wants to hurt them and those who do, should be held accountable for their abuse. Last Hope Animal Rescue advocates for their animals' proper care - before and after they take them in.
Last Hope Animal Rescue was formed in 2004 and is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. This means 100% of the proceeds Last Hope receives through fundraisers or adoption fees go right back into the rescue. All medical care, food and supplies, even the gas that goes into the vans to transport their animals to events and to foster homes, comes directly from the shelter. They receive no state or government funding. If you are able to give, in any amount, to this caring rescue, they would be grateful for it. If you are able to donate goods - such as food, toys, bedding, cleaning supplies or gas cards, to name but a few things off their wish list, again, they would be grateful for it.
Please contact the rescue to adopt a new family member, to volunteer, become a foster paw-rent or donate monies or goods. Any help needed, will be greatly appreciated by the Rescue and the dogs they love.
