My name is Brittany. I am an active young adult living in the Southwest Boise. I grew up with all different kinds of dogs. My best friend was my Dalmatian, Lucy, which I had from two months old til I was fifteen. I have been the one in my family who loves to interact and play with dogs. I am currently a proud owner of a miniature Aussie. I love walking around the neighborhood and/or hiking with my dog. I have been walking dogs since 2017. I am studying to get I to veterinary.

Hi! I have a lot of experience with all sorts of dogs! As a teen, I volunteered at my local humane society where I encountered many breeds and types of dog behavior. Later, I adopted my own small dog and was a dog-sitter for another one for many years. I look forward to meeting you and your dog soon!

I love animals! In jr high I became vegetarian hoping to help save cows & pigs. My first job was working for a pet groomer. I learned about the different breeds that came in for grooming. I also worked for a boarding company and learned how to care for animals with different needs ranging from special diets to medical attention. When you can't be there to walk your dog, or your schedule for the day is just too full, I hope you will think of me when you need the best care for your fur baby!

“From Graduate school to Dog Walking!”

I’ve spent 1 year learning the world of professional pet care. It happened by accident - I got a chance to go back to school, not only to earn a master’s degree but to play volleyball. Unfortunately, I finished my degree injured and struggling mentally. Enter dog walking! I thought I would just try it out...turns out it helped me heal: movement, nature and a friendly companion. Then it dawned on me, growing up with all kinds of animals from fish to horses - I was built for this!! Yay pet care!

I’ve loved animals my whole life and look forward to meeting more dogs! I have a lot of experience in training and caring for animals, and have worked with all kinds of dogs. I’ve been a walker for a while now and am employed at Club K9, a boarding facility. I rescued my border collie mix from a shelter nearly a decade ago and he’s my best friend. I understand how important our dogs are to us and will make sure your pup is looked after :)

“I can’t wait to walk your dog!”

I have grown up with dogs all my life. I have had two dogs during my lifetime, Jasper and Summer. With some help from my parents and siblings, I fed and walked my dogs daily. I got the "dog care" merit badge when I was a boy scout. I love all animals, but dogs have a special spot in my heart.

Dog Boarding in Boise

Fuzzy Pawz Rescue - what a great name, right?  Their mission is clear - to save the so-called "unwanted" or "unadoptable" pets from local shelters, place them in loving, safe foster homes and find them the perfect fur-ever homes! There are a lot of pets out there that don't get adopted, often for superficial reasons. Fuzzy Pawz' staff believes that all pets deserve a loving, permanent home. The love and admiration of a pet are one of life's greatest joys. Fuzzy Pawz will work tirelessly till every last pet in their care finds their happily ever after. They deserve it - the cute ones, the old ones, the ones with special needs, the ones with anxiety, the ones with an adorable overbite - they all deserve a second chance at a better life.

If you are looking to adopt a special furry friend, Fuzzy Pawz is there to answer any questions you may have. The staff will take an adoption application and screen you based on your lifestyle and current living situation. Their pets are their family and they want them to go to the perfect home. The staff only asks their adoptive paw parents to give their new pet a chance, be patient with them and let them acclimatize themselves to their new home, their new people and their new routine.

Haven't quite made up your mind if you are ready to adopt yet? Why not foster a dog or a cat and get some hands-on experience on what adopting entails. If you have some spare time on your hands and would like to volunteer to help at the facility, that would be wonderful! There are so many jobs that need to be done - cleaning, office work, transportation, playing, walking and feeding all the animals. If you have no spare time, perhaps you would consider making a monetary donation to this wonderful organization instead.

If you are looking to adopt, would like to foster, volunteer or have any pet training, feeding, or non-urgent questions, please contact them today!  Your new best friend is just a visit away!
