5K-9 Run and Walk
Each year, in conjunction with the Wishbone Canine Rescue, the city of Bloomington holds a 5K-9 run and walk. Held in the fall, this is the perfect pup-pertunity to grab your canine companion and head out for a great event! The race is held at Union Park earlier in the morning. You are able to preregister on their website for a lower cost or just sign up on the day of. Keep in mind you do need to pay a registration fee for Fido as well. After the event, be sure to hang around for their Halloween Costume Contest. You do not need to participate in the race to compete!
