“A walked dog is a happy dog!”
Hi there! My name is Shelli and I grew up having a dog as long as I can remember. I've had both big dogs and small dogs and loved them all. I currently have a lab heeler mix named Gary and he's not just a pet, he's family. I believe that a fit and healthy pet is a happy pet. I look forward to meeting your pet; making sure they are well cared for and safe during our time together and having a great walk together!

Hello! My name is Emily and I'm excited to meet your furry friends and provide them with the best care possible. I've grown up with dogs and animals basically all my life. I currently have two of my own and a cat I recently adopted! I frequently visit animal shelters to give animals in need my time and attention. I'm familiar with dog sitting and walking and enjoy being outdoors as much as your pups do :)
My name is Karen. Animals are my life! I have always had pets and my love for them has grown over the years. I enjoy spending time with them and making them feel as special as I possibly can. They are part of your family and I will treat them as you would!
I am a huge dog lover and will treat your dog like my own. I have had dogs my whole life, all of which have very different personalities. I am aware that dogs react to situations differently so it is important to understand what each dog responds to best. Just know that your dog will be in extremely caring hands with me.

Hi, I’m Erin! I am an avid lover of animals, especially dogs! Growing up my family had plenty of pets, including three amazingly compassionate and intelligent Golden Retrievers. During high school I loved to dog sit for friends and neighbors, taking care of breeds of all sizes (ranging from chihuahuas and yorkies to labs and Great Danes). My current pup has no eyes, so I have experience with dogs with impairments and slightly different guidance needs. I love to walk around town and a canine companion always makes walks a million times better!
Hi my name is Breanna! I love animals, I currently work at a doggy daycare and am with dogs all day, I have a very good read for dogs and have been there for around a year. Prior to that I worked at an animal hospital. I am so excited to meet your pups!
I have loved dogs and animals my entire life. I grew up with dogs and have my own today. I am a teacher in the area and many of my coworkers have used my dog sitting services.
My name is Jacob. I'm a student at Illinois State university, and have been working with and around dogs for a large part of my life. In 7th grade I started volunteering at a doggy daycare because my mom wouldn't buy me a dog of my own. Now, I do have a dog of my own, but still love working with all dogs. I've been a dog-lover since early childhood, despite my mild allergy to their dander.
Hello! I’m Jekyra but I prefer to go by Kyra! I am 19 years old and I am from Chicago. I can speak English and Spanish! I have experience in dog walking/caregiving. I have my own dog and I was a caregiver for one for two years! I am excited to be of assistance for all my pet parents! Have a wonderful day and I hope I get to meet you and your pups soon!

This shelter follows a no-kill philosophy. What this means is that they will help any dog they can within their power. The Wishbone Canine Rescue team strives to do their absolute best to maintain a high quality of life for each animal brought in. They only use euthanasia as a final option if a dog is in too much pain, whether physically or emotionally.
This brilliant facility is located at 2020 Bunn Street and has a fur-tastic relationship with the local community.
