DuPage Human Race
The annual DuPage Human Race is a community fundraiser event that benefits more than 70 dedicated nonprofits county-wide. The nature of the event allows participants to choose their charity partner and fundraise for that group. Leashed canine companions are invited to participate in the race with their owners and participants are encouraged to select the Friends of DuPage County Animal Care & Control Foundation as their charity partner! The registration fee for the race varies from $25-45, depending on how early you sign up! All proceeds raised for the foundation directly benefit shelter animals through supplying medical supplies and veterinary care. There are two separate race courses: a 5K for runners and a 2-mile route for walkers. Come move those paws for a cause!12
