I love animals and have been around them my whole life. I grew up on a farm and have never been without at least one pet of my own. In 2003 I left my previous job to pursue working with animals full time and I’ve never looked back! My husband and I have fostered over 80 dogs from Lake Shore Animal Shelter since then, and we also have a beautiful tortoiseshell cat of our own named Suki.

My name is Julie. I live in Lakeview with my beautiful chocolate Labrador. I've loved dogs all my life. I frequently volunteer at Chicago Canine Rescue and am certified in pet CPR and first aid.
