Melissa was amazing. She adjusted her schedule to accommodate a last minute overnight stay. In addition, she went above and beyond to make sure our senior dog was comfortable and got plenty of outdoor activity. Dustin went above and beyond with my dog! i have a very timid dog and he came over a few days before boarding her to meet her and make her feel comfortable. i received many pictures and videos during her stay as well. he also dropped my dog off to me which was super helpful upon my return from my trip! i will absolutely be working with Dustin again in the future. He has a great home for pups and is clearly a dog person that knows just how to care for all of their different personalities. highly recommend!

This one-of-a-kind, dog-friendly knick-knack shop is proud to offer the finest out-of-the-ordinary gifts, bags, necklaces, mugs, candles, and soaps in the area! Silver in the City was even awarded the "Best Gift Shop In Indianapolis" (the Carmel store is their second location). You and your leashed pup can browse through all the shop has to offer. But be sure to clean up after Fido should nature call inside the store! They have plenty of quirky holiday gift ideas to choose from like a Gnome's dishtowel, a holiday-pups latte mug, "don't stop believing" knee socks with Santa's face on them, Sophie the Squirrel travel mug and LOTS more! This gift shop is unique - you never know what you might find so grab Fido and let's shop!36
Holiday Park
This great park in nearby Indianapolis, Indiana is filled with amazing, hilly trails and forests. Fido is 100% welcome to come along with you and your whole family - everywhere except for the nature center. There is so much wonderful scenery close to the White River. Let your pup splash in the shallow areas of the lake; climb over tree trunks, or travel across small footbridges. It makes for a pup-tacular way to spend the day with your best furry buddy. Take advantage of the changing colors of fall, the crispness of the air and all the splendid beauty Holiday Park has to offer year round.

Indy Fuel Paws & Pucks Night
The Indy Fuel Paws & Pucks night takes place in November at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in nearby Indianapolis, Indiana. Are you and your pup hockey fans? For the first time ever, pet parents can bring their pooch with them to the game. A portion of the proceeds benefits local animal rescues and shelters. If you have a Dachshund, sign them up for the wiener dog race to be held at intermission on the ice. Which wiener will win? You are just going to have to come and see for yourself. A dog and his human get in for the special price of $20.00, and every furry friend will receive a Fuel pet bandana to show their team pride - GO FUEL! Be sure to clean up after your pet and all dogs must stay on their leash during the event.12
Pet Photo Night
Sit. Stay. Pose. Grab the Santa hat and your leashed canine counterpart and head over to get your picture with Santa! Registration is free and individual photo packages range from $25.00 to $50.00. This event takes place in nearby Noblesville, Indiana at Hamilton Town Center. Get in the howl-iday spirit and enjoy some time with your little furry friend. You and your pup won't want to miss out on the chance to have a lifelong treasured keepsake with Santa. You may want to take this chance to whisper your wish list to Santa - you never can be too thorough!
Annual Rudolph Family Fun 5K Run/Walk
This family-friendly, pup friendly event takes place in nearby Kokomo, Indiana. There will be plenty of reindeer games before the run/walks start. Come join them for a festive morning filled with all things Rudolph! The run/walks begin at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library and continues through Foster Park. Music will fill the air and get you in the holiday spirit while you enjoy the nice winter weather with your whole family. After the races are over, head to the library for some snacks and hot cocoa. Finishing participants will receive a medal, a blinking Rudolph nose and antlers, water, snacks and a long-sleeve t-shirt. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers and great door prizes are also up for grabs.
