Wayne, Indiana. Fox Island County Park is a 605-acre wooded paradise just made for you and your pup to explore together! Better yet, 270 acres of this land is dedicated as State Nature Preserve to protect the plants, animals and geographic features. Hundreds of species of animals and plants call Fox Island home because of its diverse terrain. Be sure to bring your camera in case you cross paths with one of mother nature's beauties. Eagle Creek Park
Eagle Creek Park in nearby Indianapolis, Indiana is the 6th largest city park in the nation. Your leashed dog is welcome to join you for a nice fall hike! This city park has its own dog park! The admission is just $10.00 for a day pass, and you need to bring proof that your pup's vaccines are up to date to enter. This is the one place inside the park where dogs can run leash-free. There is a shallow marsh area nearby where your pooch can splash and swim with his fellow woofers.
