Tracy Trail
Let's go walk the dog at Tracy Trail in nearby Greenwood, Indiana! It is a 1.5-mile asphalt trail where you can get some fresh air, exercise and some much-needed one on one time with your furry friend. Be sure to bring water for you and Fido to stay hydrated and be a responsible paw parent by picking up after your pup to keep the trail clean and beautiful! Chances are you and Fido will meet some more walkers, joggers, runners, skaters and bicyclists along the way and maybe make some new friends - be sure to share the trail. The trail does cross over a few road crossings, so keep Fido on his leash and under your control when you cross. Be safe, get some exercise and have fun!36
Tail Waggin' Hayride
Yee haw, yawl and hot diggity dog! Bring your favorite furry friend and join your fellow dog lovers for a tractor-drawn hayride in nearby Bendix Woods County Park in New Carlisle, Indiana. There is nothing like being outdoors and soaking in some fresh crisp fall air! Refreshments are available for both Fido and his people. Admission is $3.00 and a donated pet item to benefit Pets Connect. Fido must stay on his leash the whole time, but that won't stop him from having a tail-waggin' good time! Throw that dog a bone and join the paw-ty! Pet costumes are welcome, so how about a kerchief and a doggy cowboy hat! Let's ride!24
Versailles State Park
Versailles State Park, located in nearby Versailles, Indiana is a scenic, wildlife-filled adventure just waiting for you, Fido and the whole family! Do you want to teach your kids about history? The famous Morgan's Raiders made their way through what is now the park during the Civil War and the town of Versailles was briefly under Confederate control. Take a hike, or do some fishing on the 230-acre lake. You can even rent a rowboat, kayak or canoe. Into mountain biking? They've got trails just for you! They even have 20 miles of horse trails! Those who like camping can check-out their 226 electrically wired campsites. Don't forget to pack a lunch and take a break at one of their many picnic shelters and always clean up after yourselves and Fido! Enjoy!12

Which teeny weeny wiener will be the big winner? Head to the U.S. Bank Arena in nearby Cincinnati, Ohio with your furry pal to find out! The John Morrell Wiener Dog Races will take place at intermission of the Cincinnati Cyclones Hockey game. The Cyclones and U.S. Bank Arena are offering pet parents and their pooches a special Pucks & Pups ticket so they can enjoy the game and the race together. And Hot Diggity Dog - it's also John Morrell $1.00 hot dog night! Dachshunds on ice (cold dogs), good eats (hot dogs) and a fun night out with your furry friend, what could be better?
