I cannot recommend Jerad enough!! He was awesome from start to finish and took our last second request happily! Boulevard Drive-In
Grab your Pup-corn! Starting in April of each year and going through late September, the Boulevard Drive-in, located at 1051 Merriam Lane in Kansas City, welcomes all families and their leashed canine friends to experience the first 4K drive-in experience! This is a cash-only business, but at $10 per adult, it is not too shabby. Oh, and kids 11 and under get in free! While there, make sure to stop by the snack bar for something to munch on during the movie. Show times vary throughout the season, so be sure to visit their website for more details!

Boulevard Drive-In Swap 'n' Shop
Op-paw-tunity is knocking! Time to go shopping! Located at the Boulevard Drive-in (previously mentioned), the “Swap ‘n’ Shop” takes place year round. Saturday and Sunday from 5 a.m. until 2 p.m., weather permitting, of course, the drive-in becomes a shopping center for locals, as well as for those just stopping by. Bring your leashed and well-behaved pooch along for a nice morning out. The cost of this event is just $1 per person and is a great way to spend time with your furry friends, while also providing you with time out of the house and a unique shopping experience.

Woodyard Bar-B-Que
If you find yourself out for a nice stroll with your pup and hunger strikes, you may want to consider going to Woodyard Bar-B-Que, located at 3001 Merriam Ln, Kansas City, KS 66106. This restaurant includes a large outdoor patio in which you and your furry pals can hang out and enjoy each other’s company. Along with being pet-friendly, their menu is fair-priced so that you can have the best experience possible without breaking the bank. Year round, this restaurant is open every day of the week at various hours for your indulgence. That isn’t too ruff!

Wyandotte County Lake
You have to be pretty careful not to say the "w" word around your pooch. As soon as your dog suspects a walk may be eminent you will find your pupper jumping up and down and all around. But have no fear, we have found the best place for you and your dog to enjoy a nice walk, or run. Wyandotte County Lake, located conveniently at 9100 Leavenworth Rd, Kansas City, KS, US, 66109, allows pets and their owners to experience a breath of fresh air outside together on the trails. Open all year round, these trails are best experienced with a pooch by your side. Wyandotte County Lake also provides pet owners with an off-leash park located on the west side. Go mutts!
Grinter Place State Historic Site
Take a step back in time by planning an outing to the ever popular Grinter Place State Historic Site! This historic site is the oldest home in Wyandotte County, once belonging to Annie and Moses Grinter. Grinter Place is open to visitors Wednesday through Saturday from May until October. Your pups are allowed to visit this site with you, so long as they do not enter any of the buildings. Fur-tunately, outside of the buildings you will find much for you and your fetching friends to enjoy. As long as your dog is under your control and leashed, you are free to roam the area!
