Christmas in the Park Holiday Light Display
Now through December 31, bring the whole family and your furry leashed friend to check out the dazzling, festive lights on Park Avenue in Paducah, Kentucky. Admission is free but canned goods and monetary donations are accepted. There will also be family events, hot cocoa and horsedrawn carriage rides! Meet up with your friends, family and neighbors and celebrate the joys of the season together! Always remember to be a responsible paw parent and pick up after your leashed pups. Purple Toad Winery
Dogs + Wine = Pawfection! Bring your family and friends (and your leashed pup) to sit at the outdoor tables and sample some of the area's tastiest wines - like blackberry or chocolate strawberry. Sounds delicious? Jot down this address - 4275 Old US Highway 45 S in Paducah, Kentucky. Paducah Riverwalk
Lace up your sneakers, grab Fido or Fifi's leash and some poop bags and head to the historic Paducah Riverwalk! This is a great place to get some fresh air, exercise and lots of one-on-one time with your pup! The riverwalk is located behind the flood walls and is clean and well-maintained. Be sure to bring your camera though, because you will pass by 50 beautiful murals painted by local artists on the back of the flood wall. Bring a lunch or a snack and take a break at one of the many benches or tables and watch the boats pass by! Be sure to clean up after yourself and your pup. Have fun!12
Christmas Parade
Its the Most Wonderful Time of the year! Come join your friends and neighbors for the annual Paducah Christmas parade! Mark your calendar for the first Saturday in December and make sure you are there! Bundle up and bring your whole family (even your leashed furry friend in his finest and most festive doggy sweater). Enjoy some time with the whole community as you mark the start of the holiday season. The parade begins at 5:00 pm and will be filled with festive floats, bands, and local civic organizations! Don't forget Santa will be appearing on the final float on the parade and will be posing for pics at the Gazebo after the parade!
Fourth of July in Paducah, Kentucky
Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park is the location for a Star-Spangled celebration of Americana! There will be lots of family-friendly events, food and music throughout the park. Bring your leashed furry family members as well (no retractable leashes) and share a day full of family memories with your whole gang! There will be cornhole tournaments, smores, a fishing competition for the kids and don't forget to look up around sunset time! There will be free fireworks over Kentucky Lake!
