Hi, My name is Paul and I have had rescued three dogs since 1997. I had a large Bull Mastiff / St. Bernard mix named Veego that passed away at around 15 in 2012. I have had a German Shepherd since 2005, Honey is currently 14 years old. I have also had a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Ben since 2007 that is about to be ten. I have pet sat for lots of friends in the past. Pitbulls, Rotweiller, Labradors, Boxer, Pug, Chihuahuas, French Bulldog, and a few Terriers. Seeing any dog always puts a smile on my face, from abandoned rescues to show dogs. I enjoy learning their unique personalities and quirks. I will treat your dog (and home) like I do my own, with love and care. I've also been vegetarian / vegan for over 25 years and like to stay active. Dog Boarding in Belmont

Leaving your dog behind when you go away on vacation can be a heartbreaking experience, but it’s one that is sometimes unavoidable. And if you live in Belmont, MA, there are plenty of dog kennels near you where your fur-baby can rest their cute head while you’re gone.

But before you start comparing kennels, take some time to check out your options for dog boarding and dog sitting in Belmont with Wag!. When you book overnight care through us, your pup gets to stay with a loving pet person in a comfortable and welcoming home environment. This can help minimize problems like separation anxiety and ensures that you can travel without constantly worrying about your four-legged family member.

If you’re searching for overnight accommodation for your dog in Belmont, let’s take a closer look at how much you can expect to pay.

Average Cost of Dog Boarding in Belmont, MA

Choosing a boarding kennel for your dog is a decision that shouldn’t be rushed. You need to know that your dog will be happy, safe, and well looked after, so it’s essential to compare a number of options.

Tour different kennels to find out what facilities and services they offer, and compare prices to find the best value for money. As a general guide, dog boarding prices in Belmont commonly fall somewhere in the $55 to $70 per night range. However, if you decide to book your pup in for a luxurious stay in an upgraded suite or at a fancy pet resort, you could pay more than $90 a night in some cases.

Rates are typically higher on holidays, while it’s also important to check the terms and conditions to find out what’s included in the cost. For example, some facilities charge extra for things like one-on-one or group play sessions for dogs, so the cost of care can quickly add up.

But if you book a Belmont dog boarding session with a Pet Caregiver on the Wag! app, you can take advantage of rates starting from an average of just $44 a night. It’s affordable and easy, which is probably a big part of why 99% of all boarding bookings with Wag! end in a perfect 5-star review.

For dogs that feel a little intimidated by a kennel environment, in-home pet sitting may be a better choice. Once again, there are plenty of dog sitters in Belmont to choose from, so be sure to shop around to find someone who has all the essential skills needed to care for your pooch.

Price will also be a factor. The average price for dog sitting in Belmont starts at around $80 to $85 per night, but costs can exceed $100 in some cases. Extra charges can apply on public holidays and for tasks like administering your dog’s medication, so read the fine print before you book.

Alternatively, if you book Belmont dog sitting through Wag!, rates start from an average of $39 a night. That’s great value for pups of all shapes and sizes, and will mean you’ll have more money left over to spend on spoiling your dog when you return home.
