Give a Wag! Gives to Cambridge Shelters

Home to Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA is an affluent, liberal city within the Boston metropolitan area. Established in the 1600s, Cambridge has a storied history that is centered around academia today. The city is home to numerous compassionate and dedicated animal shelters, all of which aim to get homeless pets off the streets and into loving homes:

A highly regarded animal shelter located in the greater Boston area, Animal Rescue League of Boston has helped thousands of animals in need find their safe and loving forever homes. In addition to rescuing homeless or abused animals, the Rescue also provides veterinary services, animal surrender services, and a wide range of educational opportunities aimed at helping pet owners and their furry companions.

Located in the greater Boston area, MSPCA Angell is an adoption center and veterinary care clinic dedicated to helping animals in need. Their constant stream of adoptable animals are well-cared for and provided any necessary medical attention at the facility prior to finding their forever home. In addition to adoption and veterinary services, MSPCA also offers animal training and behavior classes, surrender services, spay and neuter programs, and humane education classes.

Located about 20 minutes from Cambridge, Northeast Animal Shelter is considered one New England's largest no-kill animal shelters. Since their beginning, they have found loving homes for more than 125,000 cats and dogs. Northeast Animal Shelter prides itself on providing individualized care and attention for every single animal while they look for the perfect fit. In addition to their adoption services, they also offer several prominent programs, including Saving Homeless Pets Across America, spay and neuter assistance, pet birthday parties, and senior visits.
