Hi, My name is Paul and I have had rescued three dogs since 1997. I had a large Bull Mastiff / St. Bernard mix named Veego that passed away at around 15 in 2012. I have had a German Shepherd since 2005, Honey is currently 14 years old. I have also had a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Ben since 2007 that is about to be ten. I have pet sat for lots of friends in the past. Pitbulls, Rotweiller, Labradors, Boxer, Pug, Chihuahuas, French Bulldog, and a few Terriers. Seeing any dog always puts a smile on my face, from abandoned rescues to show dogs. I enjoy learning their unique personalities and quirks. I will treat your dog (and home) like I do my own, with love and care. I've also been vegetarian / vegan for over 25 years and like to stay active. Reliable transportation for North Shore and Boston.

Dog Boarding in Everett

No one wants to leave their pup behind when they're going out of town, but sometimes, it's unavoidable. Whether you're taking a quick business trip or jetting off for a summer vacation, Everett dog boarders and sitters with Wag! have got you and Fido covered.

Many dog boarders and sitters throughout greater Boston also offer dog walking services. With your permission, your Pet Caregiver can take your pooch for a spin on a nearby trail to let them stop and sniff the roses.

Read on to learn how much dog sitting and boarding costs in Everett, MA, plus a step-by-step guide on how to book a sitter or boarder with Wag!.

Average Cost of Dog Boarding in Everett, MA

The pets of Everett and greater Boston are truly living in the lap of luxury. If you live in Everett, you won't find many traditional boarding kennels near you. Most overnight pet care facilities are fairly fancy, with basic rooms starting at $60 a night.

Want to treat your pup to a relaxing getaway of their own? You'll find posh pet resorts right in town complete with luxuries like deluxe pet beds, webcam access, flat-screen TVs, and even bedtime stories. These swanky suites cost a pretty penny at $90+ per night for one dog.

Before booking your pup's stay, read the fine print. Some facilities require deposits and charge extra fees for everything from playing with your dog to sending you text and photo updates. Don't forget about transportation fees and higher nightly rates for holiday stays. With all those extras, the cost of your pup's vacay can add up quickly.

Searching for a more affordable option? Look no further than Wag!. When you book an Everett dog boarding session with Wag!, you'll never have to pay extra for cute pup pics or cuddles. They're all included in the nightly rate, which starts at $44 on average. That means more money back in your pocket to spend on a souvenir for Sparky!

Average Cost of Dog Sitting in Everett, MA

How does dog sitting in Everett, MA work? You have a couple of options — hire someone to stop by your home to check on your dog a few times a day, or book an overnight stay instead. The good news is, you'll find a pawful of dog sitters right in Everett who will do both. The not-so-good news is, they usually charge by the hour, with rates averaging around $25 per hour. Extra fees may apply for housekeeping items like tidying up, bringing in the mail, and watering the plants.

You can expect to pay $45 a day for a pet sitter to drop by your home to feed your dog, give them water, and take them for a walk and potty break. Although drop-in visits are a "grrreat" option for well-trained dogs, they might not be the best fit for young puppies or senior dogs who need frequent care. A select few pet sitters in Everett charge a flat rate for overnight stays, which starts at $75.

Who said you had to pay a paw and a tail for overnight pet care services? Book an Everett dog sitter with Wag! instead and save up to 50% on pet sitting! With average rates starting at just $39 a night, Pet Caregivers on the Wag! app will stay for a sleepover with your fur-baby and give them all the love, care, and cuddles they need.

Some of the pet resorts in town are so cool, they'll have you wishing you could book a night for yourself! Booking your first boarding session is super simple. Download the app, sign up for your account, and tell us a bit about you and your pup. Once your profile is all set up, you can start booking pet care services. To book a boarding session, select "Boarding" from the menu of Overnight Care services.

Once you've found the "pawfect" match, all you need to do is review your quote and finalize your booking. Now, you're ready to start chatting with your Pet Caregiver using the in-app messaging feature. Don't worry if you forgot to let your dog boarder know where you keep the doggy waste bags — you can message them anytime during the service.
