Jonathan is the absolute best. Ziggy has had the pleasure boarding with him several times and I am always so confident leaving her in his hands. He goes the extra mile, keeping in touch frequently and making sure she's comfy and chill. He even offered to care for my kitty while away, though I already had her taken care of. Kimm stepped up and helped me so much on a difficult day! She came over to pick Tilly up and dropped her off for me. She sent me pictures throughout the day of Tilly and all the things they did together. She obviously treats everypuppy like family!

Jonathan was great, first time using wag and so glad I was able to find Jonathan to board Jax , he even offered to do a meet and greet with Jax and I , which definitely eased my mind on who my dog Jax would be staying with. Also loved the fact that he was able to pick up and drop off my dog. Jax was boarded for nine days . If you re looking for someone that would love your dog as you do and have that ease of mind that your animal would be in great care, definitely go with Jonathan! Somerville Dog Festival
This unique, canine-centric event brings together all things dog with the goals of promoting healthy, happy pet ownership, keeping animals safely in their homes, and fundraising for those in need throughout the community. Organized by the Somerville Foundation for Animals, the event features interactive games, family-friendly activities, canine contests, interesting demonstrations, loads of vendors, delicious food, and a tail-waggin', butt-sniffin' good time! Events include Best Dressed, Best Trick, Agility, Nosework, and much more! The festival benefits the Somerville Foundation for Animals and their work to make sure no one has to choose between feeding themselves and their pets! Come put your best paw forward to play games, have fun, and feed pets!24
Fast and Furriest Run, Walk, Wag 5K
This fun annual race hosted by the MSPCA-Angell is one of their biggest fundraiser events of the year, taking place in Somerville's Sylvester Baxter Park at Assembly Row. More than 1,500 participants gather with their canine companions in tow to enjoy a scenic run or walk along the beautiful Mystic River. This dog and family-friendly community event with a festival-like feel also features a kids fun run, canine contests, music, games and crafts, dog demonstrations, and free pizza and snacks to keep you going! Compete with your pup for "pawsome" prizes in the Best Trick, Best Costume, and Best Kisser contests! The registration fee for the 5K includes a race bib, t-shirt, and stylish bandana for the puppy participants! Come out and move your paws for a cause!12
Dogs on Deck: a Barktail Party
Come drink and be merry for a night where Fenway Park goes to the dogs! Just a short trip from Somerville, this "pawsome" party features tasty treats and fancy beverages for both humans and canines! The event also features music, raffles, and doggie activities. Make sure to get your tickets ahead of time to get your name on the guest list, as this popular pooch party fills up quick! Photographers will be on-site to capture memorable moments with your mutt for you to treasure for years to come! Best of all, 100% of proceeds benefit the animals in need at the MSPCA!
Santa Photos
Calling all holiday hounds! Every December, naughty and nice pets from far and wide gather for the annual Santa Photos extravaganza at the MSPCA Boston Adoption Center! Bring in your festive felines, merry mutts, and every pet in between to celebrate the season with jolly ol' St. Nick! Santa will be in town for two days only to snap a photo with your furry friend. Make sure to book a time slot in advance, as Mr. Clause is a very busy man! The $30 donation gets you a framed holiday pet picture along with 4 digital images sent to your email for seasonal sharing. 100% of proceeds help provide care and services for the homeless pets at the MSPCA.
