I have been a dog-owner (my border-collie, J.J.) and dog-sitter as a teenager for many personal and family friends in the Baltimore County area. After graduating college in 2013, I began a recurring dog-walk arrangement with an old roommate for both a recently rescued German Shepherd (Storm) and a Yorkie (Stella), and have been happily working as a professional dog-walker and sitter ever since. I love meeting new dogs and making them happy with walks, playing, running, feeding, and having fun!

I love all animals, but dogs are my passion! My family has had 5 dogs over the course of my life all ranging in sizes, breeds, and temperaments so I am well prepared and comfortable handling any and all dogs. I have also had many opportunities to housesit/petsit for friends and family throughout the last few years. I have stayed at pet owner’s homes overnight in order to feed, walk, and love on their pets. I look forward to working with you and meeting your pet!

Dog Boarding in Westminster

The staff and volunteers of the Humane Society of Carroll County have a mission: to save and protect all neglected, abused, abandoned and hungry animals and find them loving, forever homes. Don't dogs just make life better? Imagine making a dog's life better by making them a member of your family. If you are wanting to feel that good feeling in your heart, won't you please stop by the Humane Society of Carroll County and meet some of their friendly furry souls? We are certain you will fall in love more than once. If you have any questions before you adopt your furry friend, the staff will be happy to answer all of them.

If you aren't able to adopt right now and want to help the pets at the Humane Society in other ways, please consider making a tax-deductible monetary donation or a donation of hard goods such as bleach, paper towels, towels, toys, treats, food, crates, bedding, collars, leashes or gas cards for transporting the dogs to and from adoption events and the vet.  You can also help the animals by volunteering your time. There are so many jobs that need doing to provide the pets of HSCC a safe and clean living environment.

Contact the shelter and volunteer to do some cleaning inside or outside of the facility, to coordinate adoption or fundraising events, to walk the dogs, to clean the cages or to even cuddle with the older, more timid animals at the shelter. Just stop by to say hello to the doggies! They love visitors. Maybe, just maybe while you are there, you will find a new forever friend.

The HSCC holds many community outreach events from educational seminars on proper nutrition, spaying and neutering your pet and fundraisers like their barn sales and tails at twilight. Check out their website for their many events throughout the year.
