Give a Wag! Gives to Ann Arbor Shelters

The homeless pets in or near Ann Arbor, Michigan have a safe haven in the animal shelters nearby. With the Humane Society of Huron Valley and Last Day Dog Rescue close by, cats and dogs without homes are found new homes and families.

The Humane Society of Huron Valley houses stray cats and dogs, reduces the pet overpopulation problem by spaying and neutering animals, and tries to find new homes for all homeless animals in the Ann Arbor area. The HSHV is a non-profit shelter that provides compassionate, loving care for all the pets that come through their doors. The HSHV attempts to stop animal cruelty by educating the community on proper care for pets.

The Last Day Dog Rescue is another non-profit animal rescue near Ann Arbor. The organization is a no-kill operation that never euthanises healthy, adoptable animals. Instead, Last Day Dog Rescue tries to find homes for each and every animal that comes through the door. The rescue has saved thousands of cats and dogs from euthanasia due to their age, breed, disabilities, or illnesses. Every animal is given a second chance with Last Day Dog Rescue, even those who are difficult to work with or who are sick!
