Tinsel Toes 5K
This dog-friendly annual event has become a tradition for many families each year! Bring the whole fam - ma, pa, junior and even little Fido on his leash and head to downtown Battle Creek, Michigan to watch this festive 5k run, walk, skip, or prance. The participants, as well as their supporters on the sidelines, get all decked out in their finest Rudolph noses, felt antlers, Santa hats and elf leggings to just have a blast. Come on down to support this wonderful cause!36
Battle Creek Christmas Parade
You can almost feel the magic in the air as you await the start of this festive Christmas parade! This dog-friendly event is the perfect way to kick-off the holiday season! All dogs are welcome to join in the fun with their families - just be sure they are on a leash and you clean up after them, please. Downtown Battle Creek will be dressed in its holiday finest - millions of pretty lights and decorations will be the backdrop for this annual Battle Creek tradition. There will be decorated floats, music, snacks, hot cocoa and lots of holiday spirit! Come on down and get your Christmas on!

Merry Mile Market
'Tis the season for giving, so head down to nearby Marshall to shop till you drop! There will be dozens and dozens of vendors waiting for you with that perfect gift (or two, or five). Want to bring Fido? He can join you on his leash as you stroll the Merry Mile and enjoy this magical time of year with your whole family! Be sure to clean up after your little fur person! Battle Creek Farmers Market
While the weather is warm, Battle Creek is home to a long-standing farmers market! Every Wednesday and Saturday from May until October, come down with your pooch by your side and see the many local vendors display their goods. Even if the weather is wet, you can still come check out what the market has to offer, as more than 30 vendors seek shelter under a rain-proof cover. You and Fido can be part of a tradition that is well over a century old!
