Hey my name is Carmine! I’m currently looking for a full time engineering job and I figured it would be great to do Wag in the meantime . My dog Millie is almost 8 years old and she’s the sweetest thing ever. She’s some a Jack Russel/Italian Greyhound Mix and while she’s one of the greatest things I’ve got going right now she doesn’t love to walk all that much. So I’d like to brighten up my days by meeting some new dogs and getting some light exercise.

I've grown up with all kinds of dogs my entire life, owning cocker spaniel, Golden Retriever, Yellow and Black labs, and Australian Shepards. I even used to work as a Kennel worker at a vet, working with over 150 dogs on a daily basis. My name is Carol and I grew up in a house full of dogs. There were more dogs in our house than kids, and there were 4 of us. My parents were dog trainers, and their dogs, Viszla, were trained in obedience, show and field trials. While I never participated in shows I accompanied my family to all events and assisted handling the dogs. After I was on my own I used all the techniques I learned at home with my dogs. Using positive reinforcement I was able to enjoy a pack of three dogs ranging from 6 pounds to 96 pounds. They were a well behaved group in and around the kitchen and out on a neighborhood walk. I always made sure they knew that I was in charge, and in exchange we enjoyed many happy hours together.

Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm currently an NYC college student looking forward to giving lots of love and attention to your dog! I became a vegetarian when I was twelve years old because of the animal abuse I saw online. I have grown up with 3 cats and my grandmothers 6 dogs, so I am an all around animal lover! I spent my time in middle school volunteering at animal shelters and donating portions of my pay checks in high school to these shelters! I love animals and I will make yours feel nothing but loved. I look forward to meeting with your furry friend soon!

Hi! My name is Juliann and I love dogs! I grew up having a Weimaraner named Maxy, and after she crossed the rainbow bridge, we got another Weim puppy named Cleo. She left us in 2014. I still miss them both and am always looking for opportunities to spend time with dogs as I cannot own my own at the moment. Aside from growing up with dogs, my experience includes spending the last 2 years volunteering at my local animal shelter where I walked, bathed, and socialized dogs on a weekly basis. And then there's all the times I've walked and dog sat for friends and neighbors..always a joy :)

Hi, I'm Charlotte! I love working with dogs. I have a Blue Heeler Corgi named Pippa, and love meeting all the Wag dogs! I volunteer with animal control dogs in Detroit, and am a force free training advocate, meaning using research based positive reward/association methods to train dogs without aversive tools (shock, prong) that can harm your dog physically or emotionally. Please let me know if you have concerns about your dog! I likely have suggestions to help point you in the right direction.

I've owned, walked, and taken care of dogs since I was a little girl and find them to be incredibly smart and empathetic creatures! As a highly active individual, I am well suited for the dog-walker lifestyle and consider it to be an extremely rewarding experience.

In the small, quaint town of Plymouth, Michigan, you will quickly find that there are plenty of activities for you and your pup to enjoy. While travelling down Main Street, you will come across numerous stores that leave out water bowls for your canine companion to quench his thirst with. Finding places to hang out with your furry friend in Plymouth is easy enough, but what about places to find a new animal companion?
In Plymouth, there is no physical shelter; however, there is a dog-friendly organization dedicated to helping our K-9 friends in need! Moosers K-9 Rescue is a local non-profit organization that dedicates itself to the wellbeing of all our canine friends. This rescue is currently closed due to restructuring but will be open soon. Their mission is quite simple; to save any dog that has run out of time at other local shelters. They strive to find each dog a companion by matching them up with a human who has a complimenting personality. They have a facebook page that you can check out for more information on their organization.
Since this shelter is temporarily closed, if you are looking for another shelter to support, the closest one is located in Westland. This is the Berman Center for Animal Care, located at 900 N Newburgh Rd. This humane society is dedicated to saving the lives of thousands of animals and creating a place for local community members to donate and help fur-children in need.
Each year, the downtown area of Plymouth holds their Fall Festival, where an incredible amount of people show up to enjoy the festivities this event has to offer. One of the most bark-tastic events held during the festival just so happens to be the pet show! This annual show is held for both dogs and cats and is open for anyone to enter! Usually starting off earlier in the day, your dog can win a variety of different categories, including smallest, largest, best dressed, and more! You are able to register your pet the morning of the contest. For more information, check them out online!
While the movie theater may be enjoyable to some, you may have realized Fido isn't allowed into most cinemas; at least the indoor ones! During the summer months, grab your pooch and head over to the USA Hockey Arena, located at 14900 N Beck Road. They are the host of three ginormous movie screens that are yours to enjoy. The best part is that your pup can hang out with you all through the night. This drive-in has a great outdoor concession stand with reasonable pricing and a great staff. So, what's stopping you? It will be paw-some! Check out movie screenings online.
Pumpkin Palooza is the largest Halloween get-together in Downtown Plymouth each year! This annual gathering allows families the opportunity to interact with local organizations and businesses while gathering candy and fun treats for the youngins. During this event, they couldn't just leave out our fluffy friends, so they created the pet costume contest to allow every member of your family the oppawtunity to have loads of fun! Located off of Main Street, this event is sure to have your family in high spirits for the whole day.
When deciding on where to eat, keep in mind that your furry friend cannot usually go inside of restaurants. Don't worry though, in this neck of the woods, almost every eatery has an outdoor eating space for you and your pup to enjoy during the warmer months of the year. One pup-ular destination is Crawford's Kitchen, located at 542 Starkweather St. This quaint diner is open for breakfast and brunch and has a great selection of entrees to choose from. Although your pup cannot actually dine here, they are most welcome to keep you company on the outdoor patio.
Can you sniff that? That glorious smell must be coming from the Three Dog Bakery, located at Unit 7, 550 Forest Avenue! This bakery was opened with the intent to make your puppy pal's tail wag all day long with excitement. Take your fur-baby to this bakery to pick out some delectable baked goods for them to chew on. Not only do they make healthier treat options for your pup, they also provide you with the opportunity to get your furry friend a birthday bone, if their birthday is nearing. Head online to their website if you are interested in finding out more!
