In Royal Oak, the streets are always bustling with people traveling from one destination to the next. Located in this lively city, you will find the Royal Oak Animal Shelter, which is located at 1515 N Edgeworth Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48067. This animal shelter caters to a plentiful amount of puppers and kittens each year. This organization is under the management of the Royal Oak Police department as a city service; their goal is to help lost fur-children find their homes and rescue those four-legged friends who cannot help themselves. This shelter is a home for many animals who found themselves lost or abandoned by their owners.
The organization is operated by the public, whose donations help keep the shelter open from year to year. Since the shelter is run by monetary donations, they also accept volunteers to help out in any way they can. The volunteers are the heart of this shelter as they continue to provide support and love for the animals and the surrounding community. If you find yourself interested in a volunteering position, you can download a volunteer application off of their website and turn it into the Royal Oak Police Department.
Other ways to help this shelter include donating items to the animals in need. You can find their wishlist of items online on their website.
