Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm currently an NYC college student looking forward to giving lots of love and attention to your dog! I became a vegetarian when I was twelve years old because of the animal abuse I saw online. I have grown up with 3 cats and my grandmothers 6 dogs, so I am an all around animal lover! I spent my time in middle school volunteering at animal shelters and donating portions of my pay checks in high school to these shelters! I love animals and I will make yours feel nothing but loved. I look forward to meeting with your furry friend soon!

Hi, my name is Jordan. First of all, I love dogs! I have been walking dogs on a regular basis since 2009. This includes walking my neighbor's dogs. I also acted as a long term dog sitter for an elderly woman who had to move into a home. I literally moved in and took care of her dog and her home full time! They had to sell the home and asked me to adopt the dog (Barkis) which I was thrilled to do and we are best buddies :)

Dog Boarding in Warren

True to their name, the Pet Adoption Alternative of Warren strives to ensure dogs in vulnerable situations are never put out on the street by promising adoption alternatives through their volunteer and foster network. PAAW works with surrounding shelters to make sure that dogs are not put down unnecessarily, and they attempt to find these pups a forever home after love and rehabilitation efforts have been made. Despite its growing size, PAAW maintains its small, organic nonprofit atmosphere in their ability to provide assistance to locals of Warren in a careful, case-by-case manner.

Founded with an affinity for those breeds and temperaments that are particularly difficult to find homes for, Misfit Angels Rescue operates solely on the generosity of their foster network to remain in operation. Because of this parameter, this shelter frequently finds itself constrained and unable to take on more animals in desperate need of help. Misfits Angels works frequently with its foster network on special rehabilitation, socialization, and other training skills in order to prepare their pups for the forever home they always dreamed of.

I Heart Dogs Rescue is an oversimplification of the complex and dedicated work this shelter does to a symbol of the no-kill rescue movement, community advocates, and responsible pet ownership. This shelter is highly attentive to the needs of animals in their custody, fully understanding that the environment can greatly impact the dogs’ demeanor. Founded by two women with big goals, I Heart Dogs Rescue has saved hundreds of animals, particularly now with their newly purchased space. Though their resources are limited, this shelter does not let that stop them from hitting their live outcome rate goals each year.
