Pooch Playdate
On days in January, bring your dog to the Purina Farms Event Center for the Pooch Playdate from 11 am to 3 pm. During these days, your pup can release the pent-up energy they have due to the cold winter. In Purina’s 84,000-square-foot facility, your dog can spend the afternoon playing with other pooches as well as playing more than 18 different games that will challenge him or her both mentally and physically!
You and your pooch are welcome to drop in at any time during the event! Admission is free for dogs, but humans 13 and up will require a $10 admission free. Children under 13 will also get in for free.

St. Louis Pet-A-Palooza
Your dog deserves a day of fun, and with the St. Louis Pet-A-Palooza event at Purina Farms Event Center, they will get just that! During this fun, air-conditioned event, your dog can socialize with other local canines, have their portrait painted, participate in Doga (doggy yoga), and shop in the marketplace.
There are activities for the whole family at Pet-A-Palooza, including bounce houses, food trucks, contests, demonstrations, and more! There will also be a Dog Diving Arena where dogs can try their paws at this fun sport.
This fun event takes place each August from and lasts from 11 am to 4 pm. Admission and parking are both free.

Dog Swim
September signifies the end of the swimming season as children are back in school. To celebrate the coming of fall, the North Pointe Aquatic Center in Ballwin, Missouri, hosts a Dog Swim event for all the pooches of the town!
From 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, your dog will have full access to the pool and the ability for lots of socialization!
While your dog swims and splashes with other local pups, you can watch and cheer him or her on. For safety reasons, people are not allowed to swim with the dogs. All dogs must be accompanied by an adult.

Ales for Tails Beer Festival
Do you like beer? How about dogs? If so, bring your dog out to the Ales for Tails Beer Festival for a day of both!
During the Ales for Tails Beer Festival, you can sample unlimited beers from local homebrewers, craft brewers, and microbreweries for four hours. There will also be vendor booths set up with all kinds of goods and services, including arts, drinks, pet products, and animal rescues!
Admission is $45 for those who will be drinking. A non-drinker ticket is only $10. This event is for adults 21 and older only.
All dogs must remain leashed throughout the event.
Beggin’ Pet Parade
During the Purina Beggin’ Pet Parade, your dog gets to experience Mardi Gras like most mutts never will! Dress your dog up in its best Mardi Gras outfit and hit the streets of St. Louis with thousands of other dogs and their humans.
After the parade, the King and Queen of Barkus will be crowned! The Coronation Pageant in Soulard Market Plaza will be held with winners of the best-dressed contest in attendance.
Registration and vendor booths open at 10 am. Activities start at noon, while the parade will kick off at 1 pm. Registration for parade participants is $10, but spectators can enjoy the parade for free.
