My name is Cheyenne. I am 22 years old. I have fostered dogs, owned dogs, and I used to work at an animal shelter, where I was expected to clean the dogs kennels, bathe dogs if necessary, walk dogs, feed them, and give medicine as needed. I love dogs so much, and I'm looking forward to walking!

Hi! My name is Karen, and I have loved dogs all my life! My family has had several dogs throughout my life, mostly large dogs (over 90lbs). However, we raised 2 of those dogs from puppies, so I have experience with young dogs, and I also have dogsat for a friend's chihuahua several times, so I also have experience caring for small dogs. I can't wait to meet you and your dog!

I grew up in a family full of dogs. My grandparents were breeders, my aunt and uncle have hunting dogs, we had both show dogs and pound puppies. I have a lot of experience with 'difficult' temperaments, forever puppies, and doggy anxiety. I'm patient and calm under possible stressful situations. I love all breeds and personalities and can't wait to meet your furbaby!

If you want a surplus of cute pics for fomo, I've got you covered. If you've got multiple dogs I'm definitely up for the dog pile, and I've also got tons of experience with homes that have both dogs and cats! Basically, I'm a broke college student missing my own dogs & trying to complete my bucket list goal of hanging out with every dog breed known to man, and I'd love for your dog to help me meet that goal!

I have been dog walking for about 5 years. Having a pet and working can be stressful. Help me, help you get the attention and exercise your dog needs by scheduling an appointment with me.
I am an extremely outgoing and active person. I have spent the majority of my life around dogs, which has helped me gain experience taking care of and watching them. Currently I am living with a blue healer named Andy, who I walk daily and watch over while his owners are at work. I love dogs as if they were my own and would love to show yours the same genuine care.
Southwestern Missouri is not known for having a large homeless animal population, but there are a surprising number of animals in the area that are looking for new, permanent homes. These animals often end up in local shelters while they wait to find new families. Two of these shelters are the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri and Castaway Animals Rescue Effort.
The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri is a non-profit organization licensed by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. The organization is the only open-admission humane society in southwest Missouri, which means that there is no limit to the number of animals the organization takes in at any given time. No animals are rejected due to illness, injury or other problem. All funding comes from private donations and adoption fees. The main goal of the organization is to prevent the suffering of animals, and they work toward a solution by bringing homeless animals in off the streets and providing all necessary care for them until they can find a new home.
Castaway Animals Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals. Since its establishment in 1992, C.A.R.E. has saved more than 20,000 creatures and has become the largest no-kill shelter in southwest Missouri. With an adoption center in Springfield and a sanctuary in Aurora for animals who need time to recover or go through training before being ready for adoption. The organization rescue around 1,000 animals a year, and relies on donations from the public to do so.
The Mutt March and Woofstock event takes place in Springfield each May. The main event is a 5k walk or run that costs $20 to participate in if you pre-register. Late registration brings the price to $30 per person. Registration also includes a t-shirt.

Each September, head over to Chesterfield Park for a fun day with Cruse Dog Park and the Springfield-Greene County Park Board during DogFest! The DogFest event runs from 10 am to 2:30 pm and is free to attend!
DogFest features fun skills and training demonstrations. You can also speak to local veterinarians for advice on dog ownership! Catch the doggy fashion show for a truly memorable experience. There will also be pet vendors at the event with all kinds of dog-related products and services available. If you are looking to add a dog to your home, there will be adoptable pets at the event looking for new families.

Halloween is one of the most fun times of the year, and your dog wants to join you in your celebrations! Every October, your pooch can join in on the fun at the Pets and Pumpkins Festival. Bring your pup down to the Historic Commercial Street for trick-or-treating, games, and more! Children will love the hay-maze, inflatables, and games, too.
There will also be food and music throughout the event, as well as a Halloween Parade! The parade starts at 3:15 pm and both children and dogs will love the attention they get as they show off their Halloween costumes.
