Aloha, I’m Taylor and I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. Dogs hold a special part of my heart. I grew up with Lily the Black Lab, Kona the Rottweiler, and Ginger the Basenji. Kona was my best friend in the whole world! I started sitting my neighbors’ dog when I was 14 and since then I have regularly house-sat and walked many of my family and friends’ dogs. My experience ranges from a single walk to watching four dogs for two weeks. I hope I can help with you and your pets’ needs!

I am a reliable and passionate pet lover. I know how good it feels to know my pet is being checked on when I’m not able to be there and I want to give you that comfort as well. I take special care to tailor my visits to each pet’s needs and owner’s instructions.
Hello! I always had a family pet growing up. I helped with training, feeding and related. Labs, a golden retriever and a westie named Weston! I recently helped raise a maltipoo named Boots! So sweet! He turned gray by age one! :) I have been doing various petting sitting since childhood. I also do contracted assistant work and I have ongoing fine art and writing projects. I would love to meet your dog and be of assistance soon! Thanks.

“Walkies, Big W, W-A-L-K, Doggie Dubs : Let's go!”
I grew up in a family full of dogs. My grandparents were breeders, my aunt and uncle have hunting dogs, we had both show dogs and pound puppies. I have a lot of experience with 'difficult' temperaments, forever puppies, and doggy anxiety. I'm patient and calm under possible stressful situations. I love all breeds and personalities and can't wait to meet your furbaby!

Southwestern Missouri is not known for having a large homeless animal population, but there are a surprising number of animals in the area that are looking for new, permanent homes. These animals often end up in local shelters while they wait to find new families. Two of these shelters are the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri and Castaway Animals Rescue Effort.
The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri is a non-profit organization licensed by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. The organization is the only open-admission humane society in southwest Missouri, which means that there is no limit to the number of animals the organization takes in at any given time. No animals are rejected due to illness, injury or other problem. All funding comes from private donations and adoption fees. The main goal of the organization is to prevent the suffering of animals, and they work toward a solution by bringing homeless animals in off the streets and providing all necessary care for them until they can find a new home.
Castaway Animals Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals. Since its establishment in 1992, C.A.R.E. has saved more than 20,000 creatures and has become the largest no-kill shelter in southwest Missouri. With an adoption center in Springfield and a sanctuary in Aurora for animals who need time to recover or go through training before being ready for adoption. The organization rescue around 1,000 animals a year, and relies on donations from the public to do so.
