Pet-A-Palooza
Dirty Dogs Spa hosts an annual Pet-A-Palooza in Raleigh. It is a lively and exciting event for everyone and their favorite four-legged friends. There are a number of wag-tastic events that all are sure to enjoy! The chilli cook-off offers prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as does the corn-hole tournament. Pets can take photos with Santa, play with their dog friends, and taste a lot of free treats. All donations and contest participation costs benefit over 5 local animal rescue organizations and the pets they so lovingly care for! Both you and your pup are sure to make happy memories and leave this event with a smile on your face.36
Dirty Dog Extravaganza
Taking place at Joyner Park in Wake Forest is the annual Dirty Dog Extravaganza - benefiting the animals in need throughout the community. Have a blast with your pup while supporting great causes that are doing amazing things for displaced animals. The two-day event is one for the record books, with over 4,000 attendees who all love dogs. The event features a dog kissing booth, local vendors with the latest and greatest in pet products, and doggy costume contests. You and your pooch will love socializing with other dog-lovers and their canines while bonding and enjoying care-free fun!24
Mutts & Marshmallows
For five years, the annual Mutts & Marshmallows event has been pleasing crowds and providing a wonderful canvas on which to have a beautiful day with your pooch. Gather together with dog lovers throughout the community to celebrate your love of dogs while giving back to the local animal shelters in the surrounding areas! The featured event is the loved-by-all 5k Doggie Dash. The Doggie Dash invites pups and their owners to enjoy a run at their own pace. Everyone who finishes the race gets a mug and bottomless hot chocolate. All who attend are sure to have a doggone good time!12
Flaherty Dog Park
Take your dog out for a nice picnic, a game of fetch, or some quality play time with his dog friends. A day at the dog park is a great way to provide care for your pooch through socialization and fun. All of the doggos can run free and off-leash in the fenced-in area and there are plenty of water stations for your parched pooch to fill up at. The park is cleaned on a weekly basis, which provides a wonderful and fresh environment in which to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and have fun!
