Dog Walk and Pet Fair
The Dog Walk and Pet Fair is a massive fundraising event for the MC SCPA. Tickets are $30 at the door or $25 in advance. The fair takes place at Brookdale Community College Lincroft campus. Activities at this event include a dog walk, live music, pet adoptions, food trucks animal-based vendors, a doggie agility ring, puparazzi photos to make your dog feel like a star, a dog-tricks contest, and so much more! This is an event made for pooches to have fun with their humans for a whole day.36
Blessing of the Animals
This is another event hosted by the MC SPCA. “All Faiths Blessing of the Animals” at the Monmouth County SPCA is an event meant for the whole family, plus dogs! There is always music, live entertainment, and some delicious local food trucks serving up great eats. There will also be a ton of animal-themed vendors so you can pick up your special furry-friend some awesome treats and toys! This annual event generally takes place at the beginning of October and is a free event.24
Pet Photos with Santa
Every December, the Monmouth County SPCA holds pet photos with Santa. All dogs and cats are welcome to take their picture with Santa as long as they have proof of current rabies vaccinations. You must pre-register for your pictures as well. A portion of the proceeds from this pet-friendly holiday event will go towards helping the puppies and kitties in need at the animal shelter!
