“Dog walking is no job - it's a passion!”

Hi there! I have been walking dogs in Hoboken, NJ for over 3 years now, which I absolutely love! I have had an endearing love for dogs since 2001 when my parents finally gave into the many pleas of my two younger brothers and I to get us a dog. We were introduced to Tiki, a magnificent Black Labrador, who became the sister we never had.

I doubt you're ever gonna find anyone who loves dogs more than I do. I've lived with dogs my whole life, walked at least 100 of my friends dogs, read dog books, volunteered at the Humane society in Hawaii, donate to ASPCA monthly, and just love them like crazy. I'm used to walking between 35.000 to 45.000 steps a day and can't wait to start walking your little one.

Dog Boarding in Hoboken

Human and canine residents alike live the good life in Hoboken, New Jersey. Located on the Hudson Waterfront, the city packs an impressive number of restaurants, parks, and shops into a small geographical area, so there’s never a shortage of things to do in the birthplace of baseball and Frank Sinatra. And with many of these places being dog-friendly, four-legged citizens seldom feel left out.

Whether it’s going for a stroll downtown or catching up with friends at a coffee shop, you try to bring your canine BFF with you wherever you go. But sometimes, life will call you away to a place where Fido can’t tag along. And when you need to travel out of town for a few days or weeks, only the best overnight care will do for your best friend.

Fortunately, you have several options when it comes to dog sitters and dog boarders in Hoboken. Local dog sitters and boarders offer a cozy and affordable alternative to traditional kennels, which may not be the best choice for pups with anxiety

With overnight dog sitting or boarding, your pooch gets to stay in a laid-back home environment and receive one-on-one attention. This includes adequate exercise, as many overnight pet caregivers on Wag! are also dog walkers. With your permission, they can take your pup for daily on-leash strolls along the scenic Waterfront Walkway.

Read on for tips on how to select the right Hoboken dog sitting or boarding provider for your canine companion!

Average Cost of Dog Boarding in Hoboken, NJ

Hoboken loves its canine citizens, so finding crate-free dog boarding near you shouldn’t be a problem. Facilities typically charge around $70 per night, while a “luxury staycation” will set you back $130 per night. Note that these rates do not include pick-up and drop-off. Also, if you board your pup during the holidays or are late in picking them up, you’ll have to pay more. Medication administration and other special requests may cost extra as well; asking what the rate includes and does not include will prevent any unpleasant surprises.

Ensuring your furry pal receives top-notch care from Hoboken dog boarders doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. With Wag!, the average dog boarding prices range from $44 to $53 per night. You’ll see an estimated rate at the bottom of the screen when booking, and the final price is displayed once you’ve selected a pet caregiver.

Average Cost of Dog Sitting in Hoboken, NJ

Some dogs only feel secure in their own home. If your pooch is a creature of habit and finds comfort in the familiar, then overnight sitting would be the most suitable option for them.

Dog sitters in Hoboken, NJ normally charge $80 to $90 per night, and usually stay with your pup for 12 hours each visit. Dog sitting services usually include evening and morning walks, as well as feeding of meals and snacks. Some sitters will also look after your house and perform basic tasks such as bringing in the mail and watering the plants. However, there are likely additional charges for midday walks, specific time requests, and holiday visits, so always read the fine print.

When you book Hoboken dog sitting services through Wag!, you’ll know exactly what you're getting. The average price for dog sitting starts at $39 per night, with no hidden fees (have a cat? In other words, it’s an affordable alternative to other overnight care options, and is well worth considering if you want your pup to be comfortable and happy while you’re away.
