Richey was fabulous with my dogs as always! My dogs love him and his dog and co hostess Ethel! I got lots of action pix of the doggie playing and having a grand ol time. I went out of town for the weekend and left Rupert and Scarlet under Richey s loving care. I was blessed with so many incredible photos of my dogs, having the time of their life! I know they look forward to their time at his doggie oasis. His dog Ethel is the perfect doggy hostess. I felt comforted, knowing that my dogs would be spending Fourth of July with Richey. He took excellent care of them. He even cleaned Rupert s ears for me. I went through so many different Dog Sitter s before I found Richey, and I always felt guilty about going out of town. Now I feel like my dogs are going on the best vacation of their life whenever I leave town! He simply the best.

Woofstock
Get ready for a grrr-oovy time at Henderson’s annual Woofstock event, which is hosted each April by the Southern Nevada Beagle Rescue Foundation. Held at Sun City Anthem Pet Club, Woofstock promises a whole day full of dog-friendly fun and entertainment for you and your furry friend! You can browse products and services from a wide range of vendors, enjoy some delicious food, win paw-some raffle prizes, and meet some adorable animals up for adoption. It’s tail-waggingly terrific for the whole family, so make sure you head on down and check it out!

Bark in the Park
Fun in the sun with your dog — that’s what Henderson’s annual Bark in the Park is all about! Hosted by the City of Henderson, this annual, dog-friendly festival features a day full of pet-friendly goodness. Held at Cornerstone Park, Bark in the Park features vendors and informational booths, entertaining canine contests, and plenty of lovable dogs searching for their fur-ever homes. Admission is free, and pets must be leashed and accompanied by a handler aged 10 years or older. There’s even a Rover Run 5K event held before the festival kicks off, giving you and Rover the paw-fect excuse to get a little exercise before a day of fun and relaxation!

Fast & Furriest
The Animal Foundation has made a huge difference in the lives of thousands of pets in the Las Vegas valley area, so why not make a difference to the Animal Foundation by raising some much-needed funds. Fast & Furriest, held each November in Sunset Park, is a family-friendly 5K run or 1-mile walk to support the foundation. You and your pooch can enjoy some fresh air and exercise together, meeting plenty of other dogs and humans, while supporting this excellent cause. Other event highlights include a vendor area, beer park, food trucks, costume contests, and adoptable pets. And even if you can’t make it along on the day, you can still run a virtual race in any location you choose to show your support.

Doggie Paddle & Play Day
Let your pooch cool off this September at Henderson’s annual Doggie Paddle & Play Day. Originally just a one-day affair, this awesome aquatic event is so popular it now takes up two days at the Black Mountain Aquatic Complex. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are invited to come along and take a dip, with swimming sessions organized so that dogs of similar sizes get to play together. The pool also has a graduated entry, meaning pets can walk into and out of the water as they please. It truly is a wonderful event for any dog lover to see, but watch out — stand too close and you might get wet!
Vegas Pet Expo
Shopping for the latest and best pet products with your four-legged friend by your side — what’s not to love about that? Throw in two days full of dog-friendly games and entertainment, plus plenty of attractions to keep the humans happy, and the annual Vegas Pet Expo looks like a paw-some weekend of fun! Highlights include tons of pet product exhibitors, exciting and informative demonstrations, a mega adoption event, discounted vaccinations, live entertainment, and a whole lot more. Your four-legged friend is welcome at the event, making this one pet expo you definitely don’t want to miss.
