I recently left my dog Snow with Wendy for a full two weeks over the Christmas and New Year holidays, and I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to write this one to say how great the experience was. Leaving your dog for that long can be stressful, but she made it really easy. It was obvious that Snow was very comfortable and happy with her and her family. It felt like he was just hanging out in a second home rather than being boarded. She was also excellent with communication. I got daily updates and photos which really helped put my mind at ease. Since I was away for the big holidays, I really appreciated the extra effort she put in specifically sending a picture of Snow in front of a "2026 Happy New Year" sign. That was a really thoughtful touch that I loved seeing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter who treats dogs like family. Snow came home happy and healthy, and we will definitely be booking with her again.

Fast & Furriest
Every November, pet lovers from all over Las Vegas and the surrounding areas get together to run or walk with their pooch and raise money for a good cause! Fast & Furriest is a 5k run or 1-mile walk designed to support the Animal Foundation, and it sees crowds of dog lovers and their pets pound the pavement to raise some much-needed funds. The course winds its way through Sunset Park and promises a relaxing stroll, but the real fun kicks off once the exercise has been completed. A fun family pet festival rolls through the morning and into the afternoon, featuring a huge vendor area, food trucks, a beer park, doggy activities, costume contests, and so much more. There’s so much to see and do, you probably won’t even know where to start!

Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest
Is your furry friend always the best dressed at Halloween? If so, why not enter her in the annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest, presented by The Animal Foundation at Downtown Summerlin’s Treat Street? For a $20 entrance fee, your dog gets a goody bag and the op-paw-tunity to compete in categories like funniest costume, owner/dog costume combination, and most creative costume. Its great fun for dogs, pet owners, and spectators alike, with plenty of awesome prizes on offer!

Dogtoberfest
Dogtoberfest is an old-fashioned beer and brat party that’s always a hit with Vegas dog lovers. Held at Big Dog’s Brewing Company, this pet-acular annual event combines more than 45 craft brews with Wisconsin brats, Bavarian pretzels, live music, and much more! Best of all, you can bring your dog along to enjoy all the fun by your side, while $1 from each festival package purchased benefits the Animal Foundation. What better excuse could you want to wet your whistle?

Barksgiving Fest
Barksgiving Fest is a true highlight for Vegas dog lovers. Held each November to benefit the Animal Foundation, it promises an afternoon full of dog-friendly, festive fun for the whole family. It all takes place at Paradise Pub and is organized by BarkHappy Las Vegas, with plenty of doggy games and activities to keep tails wagging all day long! Highlights include a doggy pumpkin pie eating contest, fall photo station, free giveaways, and raffles. All friendly, well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to attend.
