Give a Wag! Gives to Delaware Shelters

The Humane Society of Delaware County emphasizes how having a dog can not only improve that dog's life, but it will also improve the owner's wellness as well. For one thing, you will become a better person for taking in an animal in need. Studies have shown that adopting a pet can improve your health, both physically and mentally! Having a fur-buddy can greatly increase happiness. There are a lot of health benefits from that alone. Plus, you will have a devoted dog companion that will love you unconditionally for his whole life. Win-win, right?

If you are looking for a new family member, the Humane Society of Delaware County has lots and lots of pets to choose from; come on in and meet them - but be prepared to have your heart stolen! The Humane Society of Delaware County also holds multiple fundraisers and adopt-a-thons throughout the year. Please come and support them; any and all donations received from animal lovers like you or received through adoption fees go right back into the rescue.

The Humane Society of Delaware County holds many low-cost spay/neuter clinics as well as wellness and vaccine events throughout the year. The staff is dedicated to informing the public about the importance of spaying and neutering your pet. If you would like to volunteer or become a foster parent to one or more of their furry family, please contact the staff at the Humane Society of Delaware County directly. They will appreciate the help, you will feel great giving back and the pets will WOOF you for all your hard work!
