The best dog events in Grove City

Wag! Festival
A scant 15 miles from Grove City, dog owners and their puppers can find themselves in Hilliard, Ohio at the Wag! Festival. This hot-diggity-dog festival is a tail-waggin' good time just for canines! In Prarie Metro Parks, this furry festival is packed to the paws with games, prizes, swimming, and local vendors all vying for a slobbery kiss from Fido. Dates are released closer to the event, but you can rest assured it will be smack dab in the dog days of summer. This event is one day only, and free to the public. Don't miss it!

Batelle Darby Creek Metro Park
Nestled on 7,103 acres of beautiful woodlands, wetlands, and prairies, this Franklin County park has a whole host of activities for your furry friend. Take a camera to capture the hundreds of bison that roam freely, the picturesque State, and National Scenic Rivers. Travel the RUFF terrain and take your furry bestie for a hike, or rent a canoe for the day. Make sure you bring your doggie life jackets!

Gressos
Gressos is a bar that is not only pet-friendly, they cater to pets! Upon entry, they will serve your pup water and a biscuit. How is that for star-pup power? This bar/restaurant is found in the German Village where dogs nearly out-populate the humans, and the humans like it that way! Gressos is taking a big-city idea and implementing the fur-friendly business idea in their neck of the woods. Dogs are welcome seven days a week but if you bring your pup on a Tuesday, you’ll take part in “Pups on the Patio.” Doggos are still served (even faster than the humans) but a portion of the proceeds are donated to local shelters and the Franklin County Dog Shelter.

Run with the Pack
Taking place in the summer, this annual one-mile fun run and 5k race invites all runners to bring their BFFs (Best Furry Friends) and take part in this PAW-some activity! For an entry fee of only $30, runners and tail-waggers will leave with swag bags filled to the brim. This run takes place in the Scioto Audobon Metropark and offers an entire street of dog-centric vendors and games. Your doggo can even jump in the doggy-pool for some romping-good fun. Don't forget to zoom over to the kissing booth and get your picture taken with your pup. Pucker up!
