Give a Wag! Gives to Milford Shelters

Luv for Mutts Animal Rescue is made up of the most dedicated, hard-working dog lovers you will ever meet! They want to help all animals, no matter what breed, age, health or temperament. Most of the dogs that enter their doors come from high kill shelters or from senior citizens moving into nursing homes. Dogs, no matter their age, need love and care their whole lives and Luv for Mutts Dog Rescue concentrates their efforts toward saving senior pups. When a shelter is over-crowded, the older dogs are normally the ones chosen to be euthanized. Luv for Mutts Dog Rescue wants to do their part to make sure that doesn't happen.

If you are looking for a new family member, Luv for Mutts hopes that you come and see them! There is a little, furry, love-filled pooch just waiting to meet you! So what if their beard has gone a little grey? Come into one of their many adoption events held at area PetValu stores. The handsome, charismatic actor George Clooney has adopted pets from Luv for Mutts on more than one occasion - now that's one lucky dog or two! Won't you make one of their dogs your lucky dog?

If you would like to donate, volunteer or foster with them, please contact the shelter. Saving dogs is a hard and often-heartbreaking work. The staff would appreciate any help that you can give, whether it be money, resources, cleaning items, time or the use of your home. It is a wonderful cause, if you can spare the resources to assist them!
