Mill Creek MetroParks Farm
Beginning in 1910, this property served as the Mahoning County Experimental Farm, which was managed by The Ohio State University until 1990. Since then, Mill Creek MetroPark has taken over and expanded all of the educational programs and recreational facilities into a 402-acre working farm. Spend the day here learning about agriculture, animals and the history of the farm itself. The staff asks that you do not feed the animals as they are on a regimented daily feeding schedule, that you do not put your hand near the animals mouths and that you monitor your children at all time and do not let them climb or play on the gates or animal enclosures. Be sure to wash your hands after visiting with the animals and if the barn doors are closed, please leave them closed.36
METROMUTTS: Pet First Aid

This event is presented by dog trainer Katie Costello from The Canine Campus Training and Wellness Center and veterinarian Dr. Sam Costello. This is a PEOPLE only event so leave your pets at home. All participants will receive a pet first aid kit. The cost is $5.00 for MetroMutts members and $10.00 for not-yet members.24
Aim High K9
Aim High K9 provides inboard training at their heated kennels with large indoor and outdoor runs. What is inboard training? You leave your pup with the trainers for a few weeks and after they are probably trained, you come and pick them up. It is sort of like doggy basic training. They will teach your pooch that whoever gives them the command to come, sit or stay, they will come, sit or stay, no matter what distractions are happening around them. If your dog is a barker, a biter or doesn't listen, Aim High K9's trainers have a humane program that will work. Their training comes with a LIFETIME guarantee so what do you have to lose. If your little pup needs a little manner tuneup, Aim High K9 is ready to help! They want you and your pup to live happily together. Give them a call and let them show you what they can do for you and your pup!12
