I have my Master's Degree in Social Work but dogs are my passion! I have always been around dogs. I have been the office manager for a veterinarian clinic but love the freedom of being outside making dogs smile. We have fostered dogs in our home and our dogs are family. We currently have 2 Miniature Schnauzers and a Goldendoodle. I will treat your pets as I do my own. 'Pets aren't my whole life...they make my life whole.'

I absolutely adore dogs. They are the best. I don't have one of my own currently, so let me spoil yours. I would love to walk or sit with your baby. My availability is mostly in the afternoons from 1 to 4 during the week and most of the time, I'm available after 1 on Fridays and Saturdays. I'm usually available anytime on Sundays. I am a fitness professional as well so when it is not too hot, and the dog feels like running, we might do that. Regardless, I will tend to your baby with the utmost care. Thanks for considering me to love on your baby.

Dog Boarding in Norman

As the third-largest city in Oklahoma, Norman experiences many problems that cities in other states encounter, and a large homeless pet population is one of these issues. With thousands of homeless animals in the area, it is a good thing that there are a couple local shelters nearby that help care for and find homes for these pets!

Second Chance Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit, no-kill shelter that runs strictly off of donations. With the mission of helping abandoned dogs and cats get a second chance at finding a permanent home, the organization helps over 600 animals each year find new homes. The shelter has space for around 100 animals and continuously works to keep them healthy, happy, and on their way to a new family. Every animal that comes to Second Chance Animal Sanctuary is looked over by a vet, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and given flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. While the organization helps all animals find happy homes, the group only takes in animals at-risk in other shelters.

The Normal Animal Welfare Center’s staff is focused on helping potential pet owners find the perfect pooch for their needs and lifestyle. As part of the city, the shelter works closely with animal control to bring in strays off of the streets. All animals that enter the facility are spayed or neutered before they are adopted out. They also receive vaccinations and other preventatives.

If you live in Norman and are looking for a new furry friend, consider contacting one of these great shelters to find your next pet.
