Heidi was great - gave our dogs all the attention they needed and took care of our home during a big rain storm. Lots of mud! We received pictures and were able to stay in contact with her during our trip which gave such peace of mind. Excellent service!

Very disappointed in how our services went for many reasons. 1) we discussed that the dogs do not need to go longer than 3 hours without a potty break and on day one she left for over 6 hours. When asked about it, she deliberately lied. My neighbor did go over to let the dogs out to go to the bathroom for us. If there was a mess on the floor, had she been there to care for the dogs like agreed, it wouldn t have happened. 2) She claims she was nervous about our neighbors knocking on the door that someone would get in while she was in the bath. My neighbor did knock on the door and she answered very quickly (within 30 seconds) and was very friendly. Her claims of being uncomfortable do not match up to texts from our neighbors or herself. Also, people knocking on the door aren t out of the ordinary. If you are nervous about house sitting and other homes, it may be best to not offer house sitting services. 3) I left very specific instructions for feeding. We are attempting to not have the dogs eat breakfast as they are wasting food and seem to actually eat more and better with only 2 times a day (lunch and dinner). I left 16 bags of food for the 4 days (4 bags should have been used each day). However, when my husband returned there are 13 bags left. So obviously feedings were not done correctly. 4) the last day, we cut our services one day early due to her negligence, she returned with her children. I do not mind children being around my home or dogs as I have grandkids over often. However, my puppy is very scared of young people. She sent me a photo of my dog being very nervous around her kids. She then took the dog on a walk to our community pool. This is against HOA regulations. She claims the gate was open, but it s on a spring and isn t able to stay open. I thankfully have a great relationship with the neighborhood, but did get notified about the dog being at the pool. This was not discussed by Heidi, and when I tried to reach out, she didn t respond for 2.5 hours. It felt very much like she was taking her kids to the pool rather than my dog for a walk. The lack of communication and ability to follow instructions was very concerning. My younger pup has had a rough time adjusting back today and did yesterday evening and seemed to be shaking she was so scared. She now will not leave my husband s side as if she s terrified he will leave her again. Would not recommend her for high need dogs or for in home sitting. Very disappointing and scary to have had to leave my dogs in her care and is the reason my husband had to completely change his plans to return home early.
