Hi I’m Jessica. I’m a definite animal person and I especially love doggies. My professional dog experience started at one of the big pet food chains where I was a certified dog trainer for a year. I then moved on to a doggy daycare/boarding facility where I was a play group leader for 3yrs. I’ve been a stay at home mom since then. Now that both my kids are in school I’d like to go back to working with dogs since that is what I love. Thank you for letting me walk your doggies, it truly is my pleasure.

Hello there! I have loved animals and had pets ever since I was a kid. I am not at a place in my life where I am able to have a dog of my own so I love getting to spend time with other people's pups! I'm an avid walker and hiker and would love to take your dog out for a walk around Sacramento.

Hi! My name is Kelli Stetson and I am from San Diego, California but am currently a student at The George Washington University in the lovely District of Columbia! Growing up, I could never have a dog since my father was allergic, but that wasn't going to keep me from loving them! I took every opportunity I could to be around these amazing animals! My best friend had three dogs that I absolutely adored and between you and I that may have been the real reason she was my best friend! All of my dog owning friends often get annoyed with me as I tend to spend more time with their dogs than them. I also volunteered often at my local humane society. Dogs are incredible and I would love to meet and walk yours!

Hi I’m Kylie and dogs have always played an important role in my life. I have had dogs in my family ever since I can remember and each dog I’ve owned and cared for has played a special part in my growth as a person. Every dog I’ve had was more than a pet to me, they were and are family and I think it’s so important that you find someone who is willing to take care of your dogs with the same love and attention they would a family member. Feeding, cleaning up messes, making sure to give them plenty of exercise and play time and most importantly giving them love and care are what I promise to give to your dog. I have cared for many family and friends dogs from just taking them on walks to the park, to staying over night for a week while the family is away on vacation. I love animals and cannot wait to care for your furry friend!!

Hi! My name is Maiah and I adore dogs. I own two dogs, a chocolate lab and a shorkie, and I love taking them and any other dogs on walks. I am experienced with dogs who can be a bit more unruly, especially those who like to pull. I've worked at the Oregon Zoo and Chintimini Wildlife Center as a volunteer, and have experience with all types of animals, so having other pets would not be an issue for me!

I have owned dogs, big and small, since I was a child. In college, I worked at various animal hospitals caring for different types of pets. These experiences have taught me how to properly work with animals who need extra care and patience. Currently, I am applying to veterinary school and hope to continue my path to caring for animals.

Dog Boarding in Corvallis

The pets and people of Corvallis, OR are bound happily together by the care and compassion of Heartland Humane Society. The progressive nonprofit organization is committed to building a more compassionate community by caring for homeless animals, teaching humane messages to youth, and striving to strengthen the human-animal bond!

This animal welfare organization was founded in 1966 by a small group of dedicated citizens and the shelter has since grown to care for more than 2,000 homeless animals every year. Every animal that comes through their doors receives a safe home, medical treatment, a spay/neuter procedure, and a great shot at a loving home for life.

Programs and services offered by the shelter include low-cost adoptions, humane education programs, lost and found pet reporting, a pet food bank, and a Safe Housing Program to temporarily provide care for the pets of people seeking assistance in times of crisis.

Heartland Humane Society strengthens the local community with these services that keep pets safely in homes and educational programs fostering compassion, responsible pet ownership, and safety with animals. The nonprofit is so dedicated to preventing unwanted animals and saving lives that they partner with other rescue organizations to transfer in animals from shelters that don't have enough space or resources to provide thorough care. Additionally, they operate a foster care program to provide animals too young or ill to thrive in a shelter environment the individualized, compassionate care they deserve. In everything that they do, Heartland Humane Society works towards a happier, healthier community where all companion animals have homes.
