Bark in the Park
This annual dog run or walk, held in Media, is one of the most eagerly anticipated events for local dog lovers. Bark in the Park features a dog-friendly 5K run and 1-mile walk to benefit Providence Animal Center’s lifesaving mission and gives you the paw-fect excuse to get active and spend some quality time with your pet. But this is so much more than just another dog walk. There’s also an all-day fall festival with heaps of games and activities you can enjoy alongside your furry friend! There are food trucks, a photo booth, local business vendors, a raffle, live music, a puppy kissing booth, and even arts and crafts for you and your dog. What’s not to love?

Bark & Brews at Bridgeport
What could possibly be better than sinking a few brews for a good cause? Well, how about if that cause was a highly respected rescue organization and your pooch was more than welcome to join in the fun? The good news is that this is exactly what you can expect at Bark & Brews at Bridgeport, which takes place in October at the Conshohocken Brewing Company! A portion of the proceeds from all beers sold during the event goes to benefitting Providence Animal Center, while there are also adorable adoptable animals to meet and some cool raffle prizes on offer. Best of all, your dog is welcome to join you in the beer garden while you quench your thirst!

Get into the howliday spirit with this paw-some family event. Hosted by Morris Animal Refuge in association with Seger Dog Park, the Howliday Party promises an afternoon full of Fido- and family-friendly fun! You and your loved ones can enjoy delicious holiday snacks, cocktails and beer, face painting, and a holiday dog sweater competition. There’s also crafts for kids and the chance to get a photo with the Grinch, so there’s a whole lot to keep guests young and old entertained all afternoon long. Bringing your dog isn’t just allowed, it’s encouraged — so get on down to this cool canine celebration!

Red Mutt Strut and Pet Parade
If you’re looking for an affordable dog-friendly festival for pets and their people, the Red Mutt Strut and Pet Parade is ideal! Held in October at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion, Philadelphia, this adorable event gives dogs and pets of all shapes and sizes a chance to strut their stuff. As well as the parade, you and your pooch can enjoy raffles, product vendors, adoptable pets, and a paw-some pet blessing. There are even prizes for the best costume and a range of other categories, so grab a leash and get ready for a day full of fun with your four-legged fur-baby!

Held at The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Phoenixville, this woof-tastic event is a celebration of furry, feathered, scaly, and slimy creatures. If you want to buy the latest pet products, access up-to-date pet care advice, watch some impressive demonstrations, or just immerse yourself in the world of pets, the Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo is the perfect place to do it! As well as heaps of exhibitors you can also enjoy a flyball tournament, set your dog loose on the lure course, and witness tons of interactive and entertaining demonstrations. Admission starts from $11 for adults and $5 for kids, while well-behaved pets on leashes are always welcome to attend.
