My name is Julie and I have lived in Lancaster County my entire life. I love all sorts of animals and love walking dogs. I did not have any pets as a child, so I started walking the dogs in my neighborhood for their owners and loved every minute of it. I am a dog mom to a 10-year-old Chihuahua named Daisy. Unfortunately, she does not enjoy walks as much as I do. That is why it is my honor and delight to walk dogs of others. I have experience walking dogs of all sizes and energy levels and feel confident in my ability to walk a dog no matter what special considerations need to be made. I am looking forward to meeting and walking with the dogs of Lancaster!

I love dogs!! I have had a female pitbull for 9 years now and loved every minute of it. I have a flexible schedule so I can easily accommodate clients and their routines. I am strong enough to hold back pitbulls and great Danes so, the idea pf walking larger dogs doea not intimidate me at all. I am active and can take your pup for a run if you're looking to get him/her a little more tired out. I am happy to help with your pup!!

Hi! My name is Gabby, I currently volunteer at The Pet Pantry of Lancaster to assist cleaning and medicating both dogs and cats that come in. I love being able to help anyone out with their pets so I look after a handful of my friends dogs whenever they need me to. I'd love to be helpful to other dog owners out there wanting their dog to hop outside, get some fresh air, and go for that walk they look forward to. I know how much my dog, Coco, looks forward to her walks, and I'd love to help anyone out there who needs a hand with their pup!

Hi there! My name is Tim and I have always loved animals, especially dogs. I have volunteered extensively as a dog walker at the Western PA Humane Society, and I have expertise as a dog sitter as well. During these experiences, I provided dogs of various breeds and sizes with exercise, companionship, and emotional support, and I was responsible for the safety and well-being of the dogs. I have interacted with quite a variety of canine personalities and behaviors, and I believe that my experience, responsibility, and compassion serve as an assurance to you that I am the best candidate to care for your best friend!

I am 29 years old and from the DC area. I love dogs and own a 8yr old puggle named Mac. I adopted him from Best Friends Rescue 7yrs ago and it was the best choice I have ever made. Outside of owning a pup, I have also taken care of my friends and family's dogs while they are out in vacation. I am a sucker for the head tilt when you start talking to them (Im pretty sure they understand everything we are saying)!

Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is home to hundreds of homeless animals looking for new, loving homes. Every day, animal shelters in the area work hard to care for and find families for these animals. Commonly referred to as the Puppy Mill Capital of the East Coast, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, has a problem with inappropriately bred dogs, which is why adoption is so important to the shelters in this area.
Home at Last is an animal rescue that works hard to help strays and former puppy mill rejects new homes in Lancaster County. The rescue seeks to educate potential pet owners about bad breeding practices, adoption, and how to raise a puppy. As a volunteer operated rescue, Home at Last is constantly in need of extra hands, supplies, and money. Adoptions through the rescue require filling out an application, reference checks, and home visits to check on the well-being of previously adopted dogs.
The Organization for Responsible Care of Animals is an animal welfare organization based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The goal of this organization is to rescue ill, injured, abused, or abandoned animals in the county. The shelter takes in both domestic and wild animals in need of care. While the organization doesn’t focus on healthy animals, it may take in a perfectly healthy pet from time to time. The goal of the organization is to take in ill or injured animals and transform them into perfectly healthy, adoptable pets. By working with the police, ORCA has been able to save many animals from abusive situations.
