Pints for Pups
Take part in the original dog-friendly beer fest event at Pints for Pups! Enjoy a day full of delicious food, beer tasting, and live music. Each year, the event takes on a new theme, so keep your eyes peeled for what you should wear to Jim Dietrich Park in Muhlenberg for the party.
With more than 75 beers to taste, you will be set for hours of shopping at the vendor booths on-site.
Ticket prices vary. General admission is $40 per person and VIP tickets are $75 and grant early admission to the event and other extra goodies. Designated Driver passes are $20 and Junior passes for children six and over are $10 each. Children five and under get in free. All adult tickets come with a commemorative pint glass.
Even better, all proceeds go to helping animals in Berks and Lancaster Counties.

Walk for the Animals and Walktoberfest
Every October, join the Humane Society of Berks County and the Humane League of Lancaster County for the Walk for the Animals and Walktoberfest. The event raises money for both local rescues. Each year, thousands of participants show up to support animals in need.
You can participate in the walk to raise money for these great organizations! All registered walkers receive an event t-shirt. VIP walkers will have access to the exclusive Buffet and Beer Garden. Participation in the event is free, but walkers should plan to fundraise prior to the event.
This annual event has taken place for over 40 years and is a huge fundraising opportunity for the organizations it helps.

It’s a Pet’s Life Festival
Celebrate your pooch and all they do for you at It’s a Pet’s Life Festival every October at Charles F Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory in Lilitz, Pennsylvania. Rescue organizations will be on-site collecting donations and allowing event-goers to meet some of the pups looking for new homes.
Children’s activities include bouncy castles, face painting and temporary tattoos. Enjoy costume and trick contests, food trucks, carnival games, music, Halloween photos, a pet parade, food trucks, and a raffle! Your doggo is sure to enjoy a day outside in costume with you and your family.
Admission is free, but donations are requested, so please give if you can!

Tailwagger’s Trick or Treat
Everyone loves trick or treating, and dogs are no exception! Bring your lucky pooch out to Tailwagger’s Trick or Treat each October for spooky celebrations and fun. Dress up your pup for a chance to win one of the many costume contests. Adults and children are also encouraged to dress up.
Enjoy music, great dog and human geared vendors, and a beer garden as well! Children can take part in face-painting, dancing, and crafts, as well as munch on delicious candy. There will also be a Halloween-themed photo booth where your whole family can take fun photos.
The event is free to the public. Times will be announced closer to the date of the event.

Howliday Open House
Join the Humane League of Lancaster County each December for the Howliday Open House! Good pups can take photos with Santa Paws from noon to 4 pm and ask him for Christmas goodies while they're there.
Your pup will enjoy all kinds of dog-friendly treats and you can munch on sweet, yummy things as well. Raffles will take place throughout the event.
Adoptable pets will be there too, and each one adopted during the open house will go home with a special gift.
Admission is free, but photos with Santa are $5 each. You will receive your image in an email within about a week of the event.
