Hi there! It’s a running joke in my life that I’d choose hanging with dogs over people any day (and it’s probably true!) I have one rescue mutt at home, Stanley, and we love to hike and adventure together. I’ve so loved my last 14 months of walking with Wag - I like to spend extra time after our walks for playtime/snuggles. It’s very important to me to send detailed report cards and photos. My pup is like my child and I’d want that same level of attention and care! Dogs bring so much joy :)

Dogs love and trust me! I have 20 years experience in daily walking, feeding, and just a little play date with dogs. I also have done many years of vacation sitting for dogs in my home and theirs. I adore animals and even h nursed a French Bulldog back to health after he lost the use of his hind legs. Have held dogs on my lap thru thunderstorms and terminal illnesses. You will never be disappointed with me!

“I'm here to love your pups as you would yourself!”

Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm a student at UTC. I have a dog of my own at my hometown. I couldn't bring him with me due to living on campus, so walking dogs between classes will allow me to get the joy of walking dogs again while I'm away from home. I enjoy going on walks, especially with a dog!!

Hi! My name is Evan, and I'd love to go for a walk with your pet! I've had dogs in my family since I was a child, and currently have a Golden Retriever and Australian Shepherd at home. I know how close your canine can be to your heart from having my own that mean so much to me. I understand that you may worry to entrust your pet to someone else, but I can promise a very attentive and cautious walk every time. Your animals safety comes first for me, and if we're both up for it - we'd love to have some fun on our walk as well!

Dog Boarding in Chattanooga

Often called the Gateway to the South, Chattanooga, Tennessee is quickly becoming a hot-spot for pups, and while they don't have a whole host of pet-themed festivals or establishments (yet!), they do feature a ton of pawesome, pet-friendly bars, restaurants, attractions, and dog parks!  More importantly, Chatt Town is home to dozens of pup-focused organizations, shelters, charities, volunteer groups.

One of the largest organizations, the Humane Educational Society, functions to provide a safe haven for homeless, abused, and neglected animals in the Chatt community. Not only do they shelter pups, they facilitate adoption, host fundraising events, provide affordable medical services, and care for all neglected doggos in the area! Since their establishment in 1910, the organization has worked to take in and re-home about 4,000 pets every year.

Chattanooga is also home to the Pet Placement Center, the oldest no-kill shelter in the city. Beginning as the Humane Animal League, the organization survives solely off of donations and fundraising activities. This private adoption center works to facilitate adoptions, house neglected and injured animals, and create volunteer opportunities for foster families.

This spooky dog walk is one you won't want to miss! Put on by the Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga, this frightfully furry fundraiser is an annual event that happens every Fall at Ross's Landing Park. Join together with hundreds of other pet-lovers and pawesome pups for a charitable dog walk that benefits outreach to the community, medical services for needy animals, and shelter for homeless animals. Another neat feature - if you don't have a pup to walk, they'll let you rent a shelter dog for a stroll through the park! This Halloween-themed doggy event also features  costume contests and prizes for smallest pups, largest pups, and the best tricks.

Some of the most popular parks are centrally located, all with fire hydrants to sniff and explore, agility toys, and benches for humans! Close to downtown, you can find Chew Chew Canine Park, a fully fenced-in park where your pup can run off-leash and free. Farther out, your active pup can enjoy parks like Greenway Farms, White Oak Park, and Heritage Dog Park - all which are well equipped with hydrating stations, fenced in play areas, and adequate puppy-poop-removal systems.

If you own a pup that can't get enough of adventure, then Chattanooga is the town for you. There are hundreds of spots to take your pooch for the ultimate walk or hike, as long as you remember the leash! One favorite is Glen Falls on the beautiful Lookout Mountain. If the weather is nice and the water is warm, it's one of the best spots to take your doggo for a dip. Cumberland Trail, Raccoon Mountain, and North Chickamauga Creek are also heavily dog-pupulated trails! Make sure you remember to hydrate your pup (and yourself!) and to bring doggy clean-up bags, too!

You and your leashed doggo can enjoy the woodland trails and gardens, and best of all, a view at the top of the mountain that allows you and your pup to see seven different states! While Chattanooga doesn't host many pet-specific festivals (we're pawsitive those are coming in the future), they do allow your fluffy pups to join you at many of their awesome, annual festivals that occur in their downtown area. Giant festival likes the Riverbend Festival - an eight-day, five-stage festival that features over 100 artists, and the 3 Sisters Festival - a bluegrass event that's been named one of the top five bluegrass festivals in the country. Both of these events allow your pup to enjoy the fun too!
