Fido - this one is for you! Bring your human to Woof Gang Bakery and browse aisle after aisle of nutritious, premium cat and dog food and delicious treats. This store also houses a groomer, a doggy daycare and a veterinary clinic! This amazingly paw-some pet palace truly celebrates the love of our pets. Bring em all in (on-leash or in a carrier of course) and spoil them a little bit! Please be sure to clean up after them while inside the store. The staff is knowledgeable about all of the products within the store and would love the chance to spoil your pup and get a cuddle! Please visit the store that was named 2016's Retailer of the Year Franchise Award!36

It's that magical time of year again when Santa Paws and his elves come to town! Santa and his elves will be at The Shops of Saddle Creek in nearby Germantown, Tennessee so bring your best dressed and well-behaved furbabies to get their picture taken with the big man himself. Has Fido been giving you any hints about what he wants from Santa Paws? Maybe leaving magazines and toy catalogs DOG-EARED to his dream toy or treat? Come one - come all to this kid-friendly, dog-friendly and adult-friendly PAWtastic event. In celebration of the most wonderful time of the year, The Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County is hosting a festively fun holiday paw-ty! There will be games and holiday crafts, yummy hot cocoa and delicious Christmas cookies! There will even be pup-tacular treats for your pooch as well. Not sold yet? What if we told you Santa Paws will be there for photos with all the kids of both the human and furry varieties! Paw-haps you can get a photo of the whole family - how nice would that look on the holiday mantle? The cost is only $25.00 and the proceeds benefit The Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County who do so much good for the area's pet population. The Peabody Memphis Ducks
This glorious tradition - the March of the Ducks in the Peabody Fountain - began in 1930. As the story goes, the General Manager of The Peabody returned from vacation, having had a bit too much Tennessee sipping whiskey and thought it would be a hoot to place some ducks in the gorgeous Peabody Fountain. The public loved it and it has become a beloved tradition ever since! The hotel restaurant no longer serves duck - out of reverence and love for their waddling' duck family! And what makes this event even better is that it's dog-friendly as well! The hotel insists that your beloved pup stay on his leash and you pick up after him while inside the building.
Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market
Off to market we go, Fido! This dog-friendly open-air market runs year-round every Saturday! All beloved poochies must stay on their leash while browsing the marketplace, and please do your doody duty and clean-up after your pooch. Bring the whole family to the First Congregational Chuck parking lot and also bring your reusable shopping bags - you never know what you will find! The winter season vendors are offering up fresh-baked bagels and other baked goods for humans AND pups, hand-crafted soaps, veggies, herbs, flowers and wreaths, jewelry, leather goods, teas, coffees and honey - not to mention only the finest and freshest meats and cheeses!
