Sittings take place at your home and boardings take place at your pet caregiver's home.
All pet caregivers offer pick-up and drop-off for boarding services.
Your pet caregiver will send photos and videos throughout the service in addition to a thorough report card.

I'm Morgan. I am an avid dog lover. I have owned two Black Labs, one Yorkshire Terrier, and a Maltese Poodle mix. I have been around and taken care of many different dog breeds. I enjoy being around dogs and love being able to take care of them.
My name is Lauren, and I love animals! I currently have two cats, and I grew up with several dogs, lab mix, Weimaraner, Great Pyrenees, German Shorthair, & Australian Shepherd. I also grew up around a variety of animals being boarded at the veterinarian clinic where my mother works. For the last year, I have been consistently caring for my sister’s Australian Shepherd, taking her on walks several times a week and dog sitting, while my sister was finishing up her teaching degree. I love all animals, and I care about their utmost safety, while also making sure that they have fun with me!

Hello, my name is Brandi and I am a college student studying art education. I do not own any animals of my own at the moment, but back home I have a German Shepard and an American bully that I use to take on walks on a daily basis. I love them very much and enjoyed the one on one time I had with them. It made me feel closer And more trusted by them. I am happy to take on special requests. I want you to feel as though you’re right there with your dog the whole time. I look forward to meeting you and your dog and establishing some great relationships.
Howdy! My name is Hannah! I am a Senior at The George Washington University, and I've REALLY missed playing and hiking with my 3 year old chocolate Labrador, Axel, since moving to DC. My lil man came into my life at the ripe age of 6 weeks old, and never left my side until this past Spring when I transferred schools.I have grown up with dogs all of my life (mostly Labs), and also have 12+ years of dog walking/sitting experience. Over the past 12 years, I've had many different types of walking companions, from excitable puppies to dogs with a little more life experience. I have also taken care of pooches with anxiety, behavioral issues, and medical conditions. Basically, I've seen 'em all, and I love 'em all.I hope to lend you a helping paw by walking your pup, and I look forward to making a new pal to explore the city with!!
Hello! My name is Madison Fischl and I have been a dog walker/pet sitter for up to 10+ years. I also have wide experience in the animal field as I am currently employed as a zookeeper and have in turn worked with a wide variety of animals for 3+ years. Due to my experience with animals I am able to handle animals/pets big and small, administer medication, as well as handle difficult/stressful situations with a calm and cool head. I have a huge passion for animals and animal welfare and know the importance of giving animals- dogs in particular- an opportunity to exercise, experience new smells and just enjoy the outdoors as well. We are all people and have busy lives, which is exactly why I would love to be able to give people an opportunity for their pets to have busy and fun lives as well!
The staff and animal control officers of the Abilene Animal Shelter are dedicated to the safety of the community and its pets. If you see a stray or injured animal in your area, please contact the shelter directly. They will investigate and find the pet's owner or place them in the system to be adopted by a lucky new owner. They are advocates for community outreach as well, so if you have any questions about your current pet or you suspect animal abuse or neglect, please contact them. They take all animal abuse or neglect reports very seriously and if abuse is found, will proceed with charges against the person or people who harmed that animal.
If you are in the market for a new furry friend, please contact the shelter. If you have any spare time and would like to volunteer, the staff could sure use your help! There is so much to do in a day including cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning, playing, walking, office work and adoption assistance.
If you are in the area and would like to stop in and thank your local animal control officer for looking out for your area's pet population, it would really mean a lot to them. Animal control officers often get a bad reputation as "dog catchers" - but they are truly animal advocates; they are here to save and rehome the lost, stray or hungry homeless pets of Abilene.
This dog-friendly, historic site is a must-see for any history lover. Phantom Hill was one of the first fort installations built by the US Army to protect the expanding Texas settlement of the 1850s. There was a fire shortly after the Army abandoned the settlement, but many of the stone structures are still standing and are ready for you and your whole family to come and explore and study them. Come and be a part of history! We have these brave troops to thank for protecting Texas during a violent time in their history. Be sure to clean up after your dog and maintain the 38-acre sites pristine historic majesty!
Step back in time as you and your entire family visit the Buffalo Gap Historic Village! Your well-behaved, leashed doggo is welcome to join you on your trip back in time! (Be sure to be a good pawrent and clean up after your pup.) This village is an authentic look out 1870s Abilene. The village consists of 15 historic buildings from the 1870s, so be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfy shoes. The buildings' entrances are narrower and there are no ramps like in modern-day buildings, so plan accordingly. Be sure to keep Fido or Fifi in your control so they don't chase after the many barn cats that wander the property patrolling for mice. Come and learn about historic Abilene in the company of your entire family!
