Sergio & Lina took such great care of Patty! They made sure Patty had enough space and time to adjust to being in a new environment and around their dog Loup (who is such a sweetheart) and she had SO much fun. They kept me up to date the whole time, and are such lovely people. I d trust them with my dog again anytime.

Rachael took such wonderful care of Comet while we were away. Since Comet is an older dog, we re especially careful about who we trust, and Rachael exceeded every expectation. She was patient, attentive, kind, and made sure Comet was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. We truly appreciated the updates and peace of mind she gave us. Comet came home happy and relaxed, which means everything to us. We re so grateful and would absolutely trust Rachael again!

Barkitecture

The humble doghouse has come a long way in recent years, and nowhere is that more evident than at Austin’s annual Barkitecture festival! This custom doghouse design show features some of the most innovative, creative, and pet-acular doghouses you’re ever likely to see, as some of Austin’s best and brightest architects, interior designers, and builders showcase their work. You and your pooch can head along to Barkitecture in the heart of SOCO, check out these paw-some designs, and bid to buy the one you like the most. The event raises money for local animal charities, and there’s even a Dogstume Contest judged by celebrity dog judges! What more could you possibly want from an event?

Mardi Paws

Mardi Paws is a relatively new event on Austin’s social calendar for dog lovers, but it looks set to quickly become a favorite! Held in February at Lustre Pearl East, this annual Mardi Gras parade gives dogs and their humans the chance to strut their stuff for an adoring crowd. Dogs and owners are encouraged to dress in their finest outfits to match the parade’s theme, and then get ready for an afternoon full of fun! Dogs get paraded around in floats, plenty of tasty refreshments are consumed, and a whole lot of money is raised to help local rescue groups Cutie PITooties and Austin Dog Rescue keep saving the lives of canines in need.

Mighty Texas Dog Walk

Lots of wag, lots of swag, and a fur-ociously fun day out — that’s what you can expect at the Mighty Texas Dog Walk, held in March at Austin American-Statesman! This huge dog walk gives you and your pet the chance to enjoy a scenic stroll along the shores of beautiful Ladybird Johnson Lake. Along the way, you can fill up your tote bag with heaps of premier dog food and treat samples for your fur-baby. Not only is it a tasty (for your dog) and sociable event with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, it also raises funds for Service Dogs, Inc, which adopts and trains shelter dogs to assist people living with deafness or mobility-related disabilities! Pre-registration tickets start from $30 per dog.
