Dallas Pet Expo
One of the biggest pet events in the Dallas area each year is the Dallas Pet Expo! On a weekend in May, join thousands of dogs and pet owners for a weekend of pet fun. You and your dog will have the opportunity to browse through vendor booths for great products and watch fun demonstrations!
There will also be prizes for both humans and canines, and there will be a Kids Area for all the human kids.
Low-cost vaccinations will be available for pets in need at the expo, however, organizers ask that you only bring pets that are up-to-date on vaccines or that you get them done at the expo.
Admission to the Dallas Pet Expo is free, and there will even be free nail trims available during the event!

Yap-entine’s Day
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your real true love: your pooch! Bring a date, either human, canine, or both, down to Bethany Lakes Park in Allen, Texas, for a fun holiday celebration that will show your love for all the special people (and pets) in your life.
Enjoy food, music, and lots of space for your dog to run during the Yap-entine’s Day event in Allen. While your pup meets new friends, you can spend your evening with that special someone!
The event runs from 6 pm to 9 pm and is free to attend. You can pre-register for the event online or just show up.

Dog Bowl
Each April, bring your dog to the Cotton Bowl stadium in Fair Park, Texas, for a fun day of socialization and fur! Hosted by Friends of Fair Park, a non-profit organization, this free event features room to run and romp, splash bowls for some water relaxation, and friends.
While your dog is having the time of their life, you can enjoy beer and food. There will also be live entertainment on the main stage. Get a photo taken with your pooch in front of the Woofus statue for a fun reminder of the day. Vendors will be on-site as well!
Admission is free, but to park at Fair Park, you will have to pay a $10 fee. The event runs from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Paws in the Pool-ooza
If you have a water-loving pooch, don’t miss out on the annual Paws in the Pool-ooza event at Crawford Park Pool in Cedar Hill! Your dog can enjoy a morning of swimming with other local canines. During the event, vendors will be on-site offering fun products and helpful services for dog owners!
There will even be giveaways during the event where you can win great prizes.
Admission is $2 per dog in advance or $5 per dog at the door. Before you can enter the pool, you will be required to show proof of vaccinations. The first 50 pre-registered guests will get a free t-shirt the day of the event.
Dog Wave 5k Mud Run
The Mud Run is a fun event where you compete in a distance obstacle course - covered in mud! After all the other runs, there is a Dog Wave, where dog owners can bring their pups on the 5k course for a fun run. Get all kinds of messy with your pooch and then celebrate at the festival after the run!
Dogs can do any of the horizontal obstacles set up during the run, but vertical obstacles are for humans only.
Early registration fees start at $50 per adult.
Times will be announced closer to the event date, which will be in April.
