Give a Wag! Gives to Corpus Christi Shelters

If you’re visiting the beautiful coastal city of Corpus Christi, located on the Gulf of Mexico in South Texas, you’ll be pleased to know that the future of the area’s canine population is in safe hands.

There are numerous, dedicated animal rescue groups working to save the lives of Corpus Christi’s pets in need, like Coastal Bend Small Breed Rescue. Founded in 1998, this non-profit, no-kill rescue organization is committed to giving small animals the chance to find a loving home. Operating on the belief that every dog and cat deserves to live in a safe, loving, and suitable home, Coastal Bend Small Breed Rescue runs adoptions, spaying and neutering programs, and community education services.

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is another inspirational group with a noble goal to help the region’s animals. Since its founding in 1945, the society has shown an unwavering commitment to providing the best possible care to the animals under its roof.

A non-profit organization, the Gulf Coast Humane Society operates a no-kill shelter that provides a temporary home for hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats. With a mission to save the lives of these adorable fur-kids, one pup at a time, it promotes responsible pet parenting and the humane treatment of all animals.

If you’re looking to help a local animal welfare group in Corpus Christi, both of these organizations are worthy of your support.
