“The jack of all trades”
Hello! I am a very enthusiastic person who understands the joy and responsibility it is having a pet. Having two cats and a dog of my own, I am fully aware of the needs that they have and the care that is needed to give them. I'm very good with responsibility, and have been left in charge to take care of my friends animals while they were out of town. I look forward to taking care of your pets!

I have been a foster parent with the Humane Society of El Paso for about a year and I wholeheartedly fell in love with getting to meet and help all types of furry personalities! As a pet owner myself, I enjoy being active and adventurous with my own young husky. I believe your animal is apart of your family and giving them the necessary physical activity for their health is so important. Thank you and I can't wait to walk your dog!

“Wagging Tails on Happy Trails!”
Hi! I own two gorgeous, pure-bred huskies. These wonderful, energetic 70lb sled-pulling fluff balls have trained ME to be the best dog walker! They have put me through every scenario you can imagine and I have learned to read behaviors and avoid certain situations, not to mention, I have developed the muscle and fitness to handle and keep up with large breeds! Be assured that your bundle of joy will not only be exercised, but will also be safe and cared for at all times.

Situated on the banks of the Rio Grande river, the Texan city of El Paso offers plenty of great experiences for dog lovers. It has also has produced a number of excellent welfare organisations which are dedicated to saving and improving the lives of animals in need.
Take the Animal Rescue League of El Paso, for example. Founded in 1995, this no-kill shelter places around 1,200 to 1,400 dogs and cats into loving homes each year. That’s a wonderful figure in its own right, but even more impressive when you consider that Animal Rescue League of El Paso is a volunteer-based organization that would not be able to survive without community donations!
The Humane Society of El Paso is another El Paso non-profit helping out-of-luck pets get back on their paws. As the oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter in El Paso, this organization has been serving the area’s animals for over 66 years. And with no government funding, it relies on adoption fees, grants, fundraising activities, and community donations to continue saving lives.
MuttLove Dog Rescue is yet another hardworking rescue group that proudly hails from El Paso. Established in 2016, this non-profit aims to save dogs from euthanasia and abuse, as well as to educate the general public about the importance of vaccinating your pet. MuttLove also has an even bigger goal, and one that it will need plenty of support to reach: to one day have no need to exist. When that day comes, El Paso will be the most dog-friendly city on the map!
Take a walk, take a drink, and take it easy at the annual Howl-O-Wine Dog Walk! Held in the peaceful surroundings of La Vina Winery, this annual, pet-friendly stroll features a one-mile walk for dog owners and their pets. Of course, there’s also a pooch-load of entertainment to enjoy on that day, including music, doggy contests, great prizes, food vendors, and a wide range of pet products. All proceeds from the event benefit El Paso’s spay and neuter programs, so you and your furry friend will also be taking steps to reduce pet overpopulation.
Does your fur-baby love the water almost as much as she loves you? If your dog simply adores frolicking in the pool, this is the perfect event for you! Doggy Swim Day takes place at the Community Pool each September, with all well-behaved dogs invited to dive in, practice their doggy paddle, meet new friends, and generally have a great time. Admission is $2 per dog and free for humans, and the event promises a swimmingly good time for all who attend.
Have you ever thought drinking would be so much more enjoyable if you could take your dog to the bar with you? Well, now you can at this woof-tastic event, which is held one Friday each month at the Sam Adams Pub at the Centennial Club! Friendly dogs (and their equally friendly owners are welcome to come along, enjoy some delicious drinks and snacks, and socialize with other pet lovers. Yappy Hour is held outdoors on the patio, so make sure to dress for the conditions, and there’s always a theme if you really want to get into the spirit and have some fun.
On the Saturday before Halloween each year, the streets of downtown El Paso are taken over by the undead. That’s right — there’s a furr-eaky parade of lurching, shuffling zombies, and the best part is that you and your pooch can join in the fun! Hosted by the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department, the zombie walkers invade San Jacinto Plaza for a night of howl-iday fun. The whole family (including your pet) can get dressed up and compete in costume contests, while there’s also activities, live music, and adoptable pets to enjoy. It’s wonderful fun for two- and four-legged family members of all ages!
El Paso’s annual K-9 Classic is so much more than “just” another walk for the animals. Held each April to benefit the Humane Society of El Paso, it features a full day of dog-friendly fun, games, and entertainment for the whole family. Held at Album Park, the event’s main drawcard is the relaxed fundraising walk, where pets and owners join forces to socialize and promote a good cause. But with a large range of vendors and a number of hilarious doggy competitions, there’s plenty to keep your pet’s tail wagging all day long!
