Have you ever been to Texas Fashion week - for dogs?! Yes, it is true they have a Pet Fashion Show. This fashion show even has a dog walk-off, so if your pup is a diva now is their chance to shine! Make sure to dress your pooch in the best doggie apparel because there will be lots of photographers in town scouting for the next best thing. The best part about this fashion show is that these dogs are all up for adoption! Word is, there will be a celebrity dog appearance by Jack with gopro2.com in support of adoptions with Austin local animal shelters—short two-hour drive from the Woodlands!

Annual Strut Your Mutt 5K
LWH Pit Bull Rescue hosts an Annual Strut Your Mutt 5K & Festival each spring! This one is for the whole famjam, as it lets individuals run and walk through the Wolf Pen Creek with their furry friends all in support of saving the lives of pit bulls in need. This all happens just a short one-hour drive from The Woodlands. Also, 100% of all the profits from this event go directly to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming pit bulls who are facing euthanasia in local kill shelters. Come support this event, and put an end to putting these puppies down!

Ruff High Winter Formal
Do you think dogs should get a prom too? If you think yes, luckily, there is an Annual Winter Formal they can go to! This event is hosted to help benefit Austin Pets Alive and Bailing out Benji. There are free doggy tattoos for your pup that are temporary and safe for use on animals. There are door prizes from local vendors like Tomlinson’s, Zoom Room and more! Dogs and humans are strongly encouraged to get dressed up and ready to support this unique event and great cause!
