Give a Wag! Gives to North Salt Lake Shelters

Utah Animal Adoption Center is one of the largest animal shelters that serves North Salt Lake, UT. They are a no-kill shelter and save an average of 1,000 dogs and cats per year. This shelter is located on a 2.5-acre sanctuary for dogs so they have tons of grassy areas to walk and play. Cats get to roam around in a home-like community room where they have access to super-fun cat towers!

Animals come here from local shelters where their time has run out. They are provided with medical attention, microchips, and lots of love. UAAC is dedicated to community involvement and education. They reach the community through programs and events for Valentine's Day, adoption days, Halloween and Summer dog festivals, and youth and adult education classes to teach people how to treat animals compassionately and how much it takes to home a dog or cat.

Salt Lake County Animal Services is another popular establishment and is the largest no-kill animal shelter in the state of UT. They are located in Salt Lake City and have a full-time vet clinic so dogs and cats get top-notch medical care. They are dedicated to providing the most consistent and loving pet care possible and all of that is made easy by the wonderful community and volunteers that help out at the facility.

They have volunteer and foster programs for the community, offer educational classes and programs, and host over 200 community-based outreach and fundraising events throughout the year. Programs and events include activities like Humane Education classes and Pets for Patriots, which places hard to adopts pets with deserving heroes from the US military - the gift of unconditional love from an amazing pup.
