Give a Wag! Gives to Fairfax Shelters

Homeless Animals Rescue Team, or "HART", has one clear mission - to rescue all unwanted, homeless or neglected pets and place them in loving, forever homes. This amazing rescue is 100% volunteer based and has no physical facility. All of the pets that are taken into their program go into loving foster homes to be spoiled, socialized and adored until each pet finds their forever home.

The staff knows that the pets that enter into their program have had hard beginnings. They are very thorough when it comes to finding the perfect family for their beloved adoptable pets. Are you able to provide a loving, forever home to an animal that wants no more than to love you? If you are able to open your heart and home to a new pet and make a lifetime commitment to care for and love them, contact HART today.

If you see a pet you are interested in meeting either on their website or at area adoption events, the staff at HART will be glad to arrange a special, private meeting between your whole family, even your existing pets, and your potential new family pet. They will also gladly answer any questions you might have about adoption, the pet themselves, proper care and nutrition of your pet and more. The staff at HART takes the placement of their adoptable pets very seriously. To give an animal a happily ever after that truly deserves it, as they all do - is their passion.

If you are unable to adopt a new pet right now and want to help the rescue in other ways, you can volunteer your time, become a foster family or make a tax-deductible monetary donation. There are so many jobs that need to be done and the staff would be glad for your help! Anything you can do will mean so much to the staff and the animals of HART!
