Hi, I'm Molly! Growing up, my family always included a puppy brother. Between Shadow, our jet black Newfoundland-Labrador mix, and Koda, our fluffy Husky-Malamute mix, I'm extremely comfortable walking or running with large dogs and getting out and about on longer adventures. That said, I adore pups of all sizes and personalities!

My name is Kylie, I've grown up around dogs and cats since I was a child. I’m currently a pet parent of a Siberian Husky and have taken care of labs, beagles, yorkies, and other large breeds. I love to provide fun but safe play time/walks for your fur baby while you are away. I’m comfortable with giving medications, bath time and feedings if necessary.

Hello, my name is Max and I'm looking forward to taking a kind and conscientious care of your pet. I love animals and have always had an affectionate relationship with them. I grew up owning a dog that was deeply cared for and several cats too. I have grown fond of every one. Since then, I have also volunteered in animal shelters and I have many times helped friends with taking care of their furry friends. See you soon!
“I’ll treat your fur babies like my own!”
Hey there! I'm Amber. I am a Vermont native who moved to Florida 5 years ago. I currently work at a vet clinic in Largo FL as a vet assistant/receptionist. I enjoy being around animals of all kinds and have experience with all breeds of dogs. I am able to medicate any animals as needed including giving any injectable meds. I have experience with diabetic animals as I actually fostered a diabetic cat, who is now in remission and I adopted him after many months of fostering.

The Humane Society of Chittenden County (HSCC) is dedicated to fostering, compassionate treatment of animals and preventing their neglect, abuse, and suffering. The nonprofit takes in anywhere from 800 to 1200 needy animals every year, including the homeless dogs and cats of Burlington! Originally founded in 1901, the organization has a rich history of serving local pets and people for more than 100 years.
In 2002, the organization completely up-and-moved to a large and better-equipped facility offering 12,000 square feet of space dedicated to animal care and adoption. HSCC primarily serves the area's dogs and cats, but welcomes and cares for the occasional rabbit, ferret, and other small rodents!
Animals taking refuge at the rescue's facility receive complete veterinary care, vaccinations, and a spay/neuter surgery. Each and every animal is accepted, regardless of size, breed, or behavioral/health issues and will never be euthanized to make space. The animal welfare organization has pledged to serve the two and four-legged citizens of Chittenden County with a commitment to compassion, prevention, intervention, and education.
Their dedicated efforts strengthen the local community through programs and services including pet adoptions, education and outreach programs, dog training, low-cost spay/neuter clinics, low-cost microchipping, animal fostering, animal cruelty response, lost and found pet reporting, and many more. They even operate a Good Neighbor program as a resource for pet owners in times of crisis or transition, offering free and confidential care for their beloved animals until they are in a better place. In 2016 alone, the Humane Society of Chittenden County took in 1,017 animals in need and continue to work tirelessly every day to get the animals in their care into permanent, loving homes!
For more than twenty years, the Humane Society of Chittenden County has spearheaded this giant celebration and fundraiser in support of their lifesaving work! Taking place at Veterans Memorial Park in South Burlington, the dog-centered day features a one-mile walk through the park, the 5K Doggie Fun Run, music, snacks, contests, and fun activities for the whole family! Leashed, vaccinated dogs are cordially invited to join you for the walk, run, and festivities. Thanks to the generosity of the event sponsors, every penny raised directly benefits the shelter's mission and the 1,000+ animals they care for each year. Registration for the 5K includes a bib, doggie bandana, runner goodie bag, t-shirt, and more! Invite all of your two and four-legged friends out for a day of moving their paws for a great cause!
Bark & Brew is a dog-friendly craft beer tasting series that spans the course of 7 weeks every August and September. Hosted and organized by the Humane Society of Chittenden County, the event benefits their mission to provide compassionate care for the area's animals in need. Each Thursday during the 7-week series, dog lovers and beer lovers alike gather to enjoy Bark & Brew. Bring your canine companion along to romp around in the shelter's play yard and mingle with puppy pals while you sip on a local craft brew and enjoy tasty snacks! The event is $20 a person ($5 for those under 21) and each week features a different Vermont brewery.
Come out for an evening of tail-waggin' fun with your furry friend in tow! Switchback Brewing Company started this annual pooch party in 2016 to raise funds for the Humane Society of Chittenden County (HSCC). Dog and human costumes are encouraged! Enter your creatively costumed canine in the costume contest, get some furry family photos in the photobooth, enter for great pet prizes in the raffle, and enjoy some delectable food and beverages. Costume contest categories include Best in Show, Fan Favorite, and Best Duo (for pet and human costume combos). A dollar of every pint and hotdog sold all day long will be donated to HSCC in support of their dedicated efforts for animals!
