Go Dog, Go! Canine Festival & Dog Walk
This annual festival in Juanita Beach Park is a day of dog-centric fun for the whole family! The event features a 2-mile dog walk along the beautiful shores of Lake Washington, so be sure to bring along your well-mannered, leashed canines over 6 months old! After the walk, enjoy the festival's live music, food vendors, canine agility course, microchip services, games, contests, pet businesses, and educational exhibitors. Most importantly, there will be lots of adoptable friends from local rescues present in search of forever homes! There is no charge for the festival, but the $20 dog walk registration fee raises money for the city's pet waste stations.36
East B'egg Hunt
Every spring, dog-lovers and their furry friends gather at Camp Charlie's private off-leash dog park to support Homeward Pet Adoption Center and celebrate all things dog! Hop on over to Duvall for a tail-waggin' good time! Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcomed and encouraged to attend the off-leash adventure of hunting for treat-stuffed eggs. The large dog hunt spans from 11-12:30 and the small dog hunt follows at 12:30 until 2. The event is free of charge, but monetary donations are encouraged to benefit the life-saving efforts of Homeward Pet. Your dog will go bonkers for the mouth-watering treats generously provided by the Seattle Bakery- two paws up! Bring our your four-legged friend to romp and roam for delicious rewards!24
The Ugly Sweater Run
Warm up for the holidays in “style” with the ugliest sweater you can muster up on a brisk jaunt through Marymoor Park. This event features a 5K prance with your pupper through the scenic park and surrounding streets followed by games, cocktails, goodies, and other holiday fun! At the starting line, you will find enormous inflatables, a cheerful photo station, games, and music in the spirit of the season! Crossing the finish line reaches family photo opportunities inside a larger than life snowglobe, fake snow, and lots of doggone fun festivities. Prizes will be awarded for Best Ugly Sweater, Best Dog Attire, Best Kid Sweater, Worst Sweater, and more! Registration fee includes an Ugly Sweater knit hat, a finisher's medal, a complimentary cup of cheer, and admission to the spirited 5K and spectacular after party! Proceeds benefit the One Warm Coat charity. Two and four-legged participants are welcome - so, dress up and attend in tacky holiday attire!
